It would be nice to see an overview of all of your models.

Yeah, I for one will look forward to you showcasing naval ships and the like again. Quite selfishly, I have never been into sci-fi, watched a few of the shows as a kid, preferred real airshows! I have set aside the USS Iowa Jima at the moment, going to fully light it as well, and my 1/200 USS Hornet was finished nearly a year ago and got front page in my small town newspaper, inspired by your builds. Stay well and sane! 👍

It's good to know that all is well. Congratulations on the commissions! I think I can speak for your subscribers in saying that we all look forwards to seeing some of the work you have been doing.

You really build outstanding model ships. I build mainly Star Trek and Star Wars models but I recently decided I wanted to build a ship model. I bought the Academy 400th scale USS Missouri which is a very nicely detailed kit and it seems to be a scaled down version of the Tamiya 350th kit. It measures 26 and a half inches long and was only 58 dollars. The parts sprues are identical to those in the Tamiya kit. I am at the point where I am ready to start painting the decks. I use Tamiya acrylics and I am wondering what you would suggest using for the deck blue. I used Tamiya AS - 8 US navy blue for the side of the hull. For the decks I have XF - 18 medium blue which seems too light, XF - 50 field blue which is more of a blue grey color, and XF - 17 sea blue which almost looks very dark almost black. I'm not looking to be exactly spot on accurate but I want something that will look close. I prefer to stay with Tamiya paints and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help you can give me.
