I´ve been in rehab for the same exact thing he has been, and let me tell you that once a drug addict, always a drug addict. Im not saying that he is abusing on farmaceuticals now a day, but once in a while, mostly in concerts, my money is on he being totally fucked up when he feels like it. For a drug addict person being sober does not mean not using, it means not abusing. And thats a great acomplishment

I think his major problem weren't the pills...he always had these alcoholic tendencies and that's what fucked him up about 4 years ago....I totally hope he is completely sober now but I can imagine, as you said, he still drinks sometimes when he feels like it but not in the amount he used too...but in the video I'm not quite sure but I think it could just be exhaustion, it was towards the end of the Show

People commenting on his voice...Billie tends to sing slower songs in between playing large amounts of fast/loud songs where he's running around and jumping a lot, and he's usually out of breathe and trying to rest for a bit by the time he tries singing these slower parts/songs. That shut would affects anyone's voice. There have been plenty of examples of him singing them perfectly fine and sounding just like or better than the record. Sometimes we get one or the other, it's just life. It also depends on if he was wearing in-ears. For most of Green Day's tours he didn't wear them, so he couldn't hear his own vocals properly. The last couple of tours he's been wearing them, but maybe he wasn't here, or there was something wrong and he couldn't hear himself right. Still better than lip syncing any day

I hated it at first too the vocals sound so over produced on the album, but this song is growing on me I can't deny it's a well written extremely poppy song. It's definitely the most poppy song on the radio. I think the best song on the album is Troubled Times. It sounds exactly like Holiday at one part except the fourth chord is different.
