A lot of Brian’s singing comes from Church which has a lot of improv. He went to Oakwood University which is big on music and singing the man literally grew up with music he is a walking breathing instrument (he playssss guitar as well). Brian Literally made me fall in love with music. Listen to a song with him and Fred Hammond called When Will I see you again (an amazing amazing duet).

I dont think "opera" singers could ever compete with Black American tonal sounds. They have no concept, no frame of reference for where that stems from. Hint: it's not European and not in line with anything they deem "classical". However they've defined it for the last couple centuries.
