'Game' means being up for doing something, 'game for a laugh' means someone is up for some fun. 'Still Game' means they're still up for things even though they're elderly now.

"Isa...gie deid Wullie his box o' Special K!" 😂❤ Just before the boys go into Willie's house to retrieve all the items he's tapped from people ("tapped" being Scots slang for "borrowed"), the little 🎵Ma' mate Joe's a burglar...🎵 tune is a snippet from one of the many comedy "pub songs" from Chewin' The Fat, sung by Jack, Victor, Winston & Tam. You really should give that show a watch, it truly is classic Scottish comedy. Loved the way your eyes lit up when Jack mentioned Canada. 😊

I think Navid v is Pakistani instead of Indian. India was split in two to create Pakistan, because of religious differences.

The titles were Glaswegian dialects as the show was only broadcast in Scotland for the first 3 seasons then from season 4 it was broadcast rest UK. Then the titles were English dialect. My mate used tape a series and send me on VHS for the first 3 seasons lol

Isa reminds me of my Granny (long gone now, RIP) and how I would get dragged round the shops when i was wee boy with her whilst she got the messages, a 10min trip would turn into a 3hr excursion as she was constantly gabbing on to everyone she bumped into, would drive me mental 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Wtf? "When India partitioned". Maybe go read a book and correct your history. The English divided up India in 1947. It was never the Indians idea to partition it's lands, but this was forced upon them by the colonial powers that were dictating the terms of their independence. What a retarded comment.

That kingly fellow really seems to have an issue with both Scottish humour and Scottish accents. Virtually (but not all) of the videos he's done, that have a Scottish "flavour" in it, he's just sat on his throne, staring at the screen, with a bemused "What I am not getting here?" look on his face.

BBC iPlayer says 6 but most places say 5, don't worry too much season 1 is only one with mix up

When the series originally aired, "Scones" is episode 6, and the series finale. It's also 6th on my DVD. Iplayer has the episode order mixed up.

@Sara_Kane yea, 'scones' aired first. But it doesn't really matter as the episodes are quite stand alone in season 1. The continuity of plot lines doesn't really begin until season 2...
