I played Wuwa in JP language, and to be honest, JP VA slaps harder on the story than EN I think. Could also be because of Male Rover fits much more. Still best story so far tho

As male rover player, kuro seems doing it rather general. I think we might winning now because shorekeeper is female characters. But when male characters, let's put scar as example. At that time it would be gay af. I heard they planned a setting to able swap rover gender at any moment. I hope we get that features before any of that drop 😂

Exactly. I play on en and I made two account. The first one I made I played as female rover well because she's hot but I decide to make a second account just to see the difference in the story if I played with the male rover and oh boy he fits into the story way better than female rover and has way better voice acting. Alot of the dialogue sounds like something a wise old man would say which is why male rover saying it sounds alot better than female rover. That and because all the wisdom he spill when he talks sounds way better coming from male rover compared to female rover because it's hard to think someone dressed like female rover would be saying all that shit when she is dressed like she belongs in a strip club 😂.

Some leakers said we can change rover gender in future. If this is true, actually good. It was unfair if there are only girls have love dialogue, of course that a lot of people dont want to see gay thing even if they respect gay people. And if rover is really a god or something huge then it doesn't matter if they has no gender. I think change gender is a good way to go

I will never look at it the same way. The option to be able to change male or female rover after initial selection DOESN'T appeal to me in any form, only to those who play female rover as they are male and x,y nd z.

They should have kept her “dead”. It would’ve been more impactful. If they wanted us to save her it should have been a sub-plot - and save her in a separate patch. We NEED tragedy.

I feel like it's better for this patch since it invalidates Shorekeeper's thought of being used as a tool by sacrificing herself and her desires. If they ended when storekeeper got absorbed by the tethy's system then i feel it would've been an incomplete narrative of Shorekeeper's path to take more value of her feelings.

@@JuicedCooky I wish I agreed. But I think building on Rover saving her, finding a solution to the problem (which was magically just given to her) either that or have us save her and then immediately have a lament destroy a city. There needs to be stakes. That’s the point in a story

This shit was so cringe with Shorekeeper parroting the same words but I guess players love shallow characters that don't do anything but gushing over the MC Edit: since some of you don't think I play the game, let me tell you I'm a day one player and I support Kuro and want the best for them but the thing is I'm allowed to critisize. I know that the Shorekeeper is Ai and she is having these beautiful emotions but execution was the problem because she didn't have to parrot the same words all the time. She almost became season 8, John Snow. He had an interesting character but season 8 just butchered it. It is similar for shorekeeper. She doesn't have any distinct quality apart from her love for Rover. If she was the only one I would really like the story but the current state of the game says otherwise. Every character is there for MC and everyone just lusts over him/her for example: yanyang in 1.3 like girl give me a f#cking break I'm not into you. Also Shorekeeper's sacrifice did not mean sh#t. At first I got really emotional over it and even teared up, thinking how beautiful it was but then the second after it, we are like but wait there is a solution like bro we already agreed the tethis system had to have rover or shorekeeper. The stakes were high, the sacrifice meant something but then in the next second, it meant literally nothing because guess what Tethys system actually could function without all this bs so the sacrifice did not mean anything. I was disappointed, especially after feeling so many intense emotions over it. It just meant nothing and was rushed. It was almost as if Gege himself came and just pulled out an a#spull excuse. Shorekeeper is not the only one and guess what, Camellya will probably be the same and other characters after that. This is becoming a dating simulator and it is as if Rover is creating an harem. Characters don't have much depth and their whole companion quest revolves around Rover. The ending was also awesome with how good the visuals were but the scene was so intense that I thought they were going to kiss. Is that really the way do you want this game to be? It is poor writing and I want Kuro to do better and think they can do better, that's the only reason I'm not quitting
