Sis you got this! I remember taking my NMT boards and I went through those review questions until my eyes bled 😂. I still didn’t want to hit the submit button when I was done taking the exam because I just knew I failed. Just try to study as much as possible. And please pray before you start your test. I ask the Lord to help me when I get to a question I’m not familiar with or can’t remember the answer to. I’ll be praying for you Kendra. Much love honey ❤

I used Kaplan too, I treated it like the NCLEX, I passed the first time too. I thought I failed and felt nauseous afterwards , bad test anxiety! I took Metoprolol and Bachs Rescue Remedy. Incidentally, I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear how you do. I have every confidence you will pass! BREATH! You got this!!!😊

Kendra, I know you nailed it!!🤞🏾🙏🏾 I reviewed for NCLEX with Kaplan as well and also purchased a month of NCSBN. That was Feb 2016. I nailed it in 75 questions. I didn't have to pay for Kaplan as the school I attended had it incorporated in the nursing program and already covered by the tuition. For my NP, I passed my boards two months post grad. My specialty is women's health (OB/GYN) , so our certification agency is NCC, not the ones you mentioned. I didn't utilize any review courses. Only the materials from the program, which also included Statpearl. I exhausted their question bank for both NPs and Physicians. KZbin videos were very helpful, and the fact that everything was still fresh in my brain, I believed, played a big role in me being successful on the first attempt. That exam was challenging. The beauty of it was I used to practice 175 questions in one sitting, a lot. Just to get used to the exam format, which is 175 questions. I can't wait to hear about it. Oh, and I didn't tell anyone I was going to take the exam as I was too nervous😌.

I love your vibe and content. I am not a nurse but connected to your situation as a social worker. I got my masters and stayed in the career for 6 years when I knew after year 1 it was not for me. I recently left and took a pay cut and work a relatively low stress job. The mental clarity and peace is real. I hope you find that as well :) Good luck on your boards ☺️

You got this! Be encouraged. I took both exams and felt that ANCC was easier than AANP and I passed both. You will be Kendra, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC. We are praying for you.

Oh wow!!! Both of them 😬😬😬 that’s amazing! Thanks so much! I’ll keep you all posted.

Yes!! I am not a good test taker, so to calm my nerves I signed up for both of them. I felt if I didn’t pass one, I would have the other. I passed both, and I know you can pass too… we need you in our profession as a NP, God did not bring you this far and the influence you have, to let you not pass… you are an awesome, knowledgeable nurse and you will be great as an NP.

Girl I swear the sponge thing is me bc I swear I spray that Lysol all over sponges and change them regularly too. I did Kaplan review as well for NCLEX too and I had no issues. I which you all the best my dear. I will never say NP boards was a breeze for me but everyone is different.

Of course you will pass your exam! Most Dermatologists will tell you that Dial soap is not great. Antibacterial soaps contain an ingredient (halogenated salicylanilide) that can cause cause photosensitive skin eruptions. This happened to me once on vacation and I was miserable.

Love the video contents! I really appreciate your rawness and willingness to share your experience as a nurse. Good luck and stay positive. On a different note, my niece is considering nursing as a profession. She has a Masters in Psychology. What should she consider before picking a nursing program? Thank you!
@KendraRN4 күн бұрын
Cheapest option is the community college or she can do a nursing as a second degree program where she will get her masters and nursing degree.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Much appreciated! I’m a semi-retired nurse and have been working remotely for a managed care company for years. I do agree that remote work does provide flexibility.

How old is your baby with the Invisalign? My son is 14 and wants them. I am still debating regardless to do braces or Invisalign
@KendraRN4 күн бұрын
She is 13 and she cannot get braces because her 2 front teeth protrude so bad and they’re short in the gums. So the Invisalign is more gentle. If he’s responsible, go for it.
@BecomingShalom4 күн бұрын
@KendraRN oh wow. My son has a really bad overjet and overbite and I was surprised that you could get Invisalign with that. I'm sure your baby is more responsible than my 14-year-old though lol. That's what makes me nervous
