I was just thinking of making one like this! What kind of bolt/screw did you use to pivot the latch onto?

It’s a construction screw with a smooth shank at the top. Make sure that the piece of wood you use fits in the space of the smooth shank of the screw. Let me know if this makes sense. If not I can do a quick video to show you.

Very cool! I had seen this in the coop video and thought it was awesome. But why did you put a latch on the inside?

The latch is on the inside so the wind doesn’t blow open the door and so the chickens aren’t able to push it open when we are in the run with them. We have 3 hawks right next to where the run is so they need to stay in.
