I have over 70 knives and I own a lot of more expensive knives, but I always edc a more budget option bc I use it, and the aluminum, cross bar lock Raccoon is the best edc knife there is in my opinion. Of course I love premium knives but I use those more as pocket jewelry.

Thank you for sharing my friend! You basically more less described how I use and carry my knives too. Nothing beats the value a good solid budget knife brings to the table and the raccoon certainly delivers on that front!

@@MiguelEDC I agree, I just can't carry my Chaves 229 Kickstop and not be all protective of it. So I don't carry it. I love the Vosteed raccoon bc it still has a premium feel and I don't have to cry if I lose it. I'm gonna buy the Vosteed Hedgehog next month. It has the Aluminum scales, but with an S30v wharncliffe. I think it goes for around 120-150$, and that's something I will carry, my cut off is like 175$. For example, I'm carrying my Buck 110+ Micarta in s30v today, but it's the most premium knife I'll use besides my Spydie PM2. Have you already tried the Vosteed Hedgehog, if so what is your opinion, if not, do you plan on checking it out?
