I damaged mine using hammer mode. Never going to hammer again with this drill. Rotary only from now on! It has a lot of power and some weak spots.

But how would they do on concrete? For hammer drilling with a 6mm drill bit, a lot of those holes actually. I do electrical and I most often fasten the installation to the concrete foundation with hammer down screws and some construction wire. Is this a tool I can consider using? I know it's not the same hammer action as a rotary hammer but it looks powerful enough.

Personally, I would not use these machines to drill holes in concrete, but only in masonry. From experience, I have damaged several models by drilling into concrete, the mechanism is sensitive.

I damaged the gearbox on my DHP481 drilling into concrete. I repaired it but will never use it for hammer drilling again after that. It's a great rotary drill. I always use an SDS now for drilling into concrete.
