zarc is great its like a deterrent i personally like going with trap tracks to pop to add to field more than trap trick needin to have 2 of each trap and benefit being either to pop either dinomorphia or zarc for its awesome backrow effect and a single stun trap card

So far, I’ve been running the deck without any main hand traps this format. I’m probably going to eat my words, but I feel like we can play through the top boards right now with mostly engine and Ferret Flames

Not too sure on the list icl bro. The first 20cards and the logic behind it I completely agree with. Sonic should be sided and brute is just a worst version of ferret Flames. I agree impulse is cracked and can be played, personally i dont play it as i find solemn strike to be just as good as it breaks boards going second and is better going first as it protects from ash and mulcharmys. My issue with the list is that ur only playing 13 starters and 2 of them are traptrick so can only be used after u used all your traps. Thats a 12% chance of opening no engine which is too high for me. I've wanted to test duruma for a long time but I never find space to fit it in. Feels like all other cards I have r just better like strike and iron thunder. I don't like ash in the main. It's too low impact and plays hard into talents, I've sided it b4 but I never main it. Imo you have to play an extra deck engine. Whenever I build a deck and I think to myself, oh I'm playing this extra deck card but I don't really need it, then ik that my list isn't optimised. It should always be a difficult dilemma of struggling to fit all the extra deck cards in otherwise the deck is lacking. I currently play the zarc stuff coz it's completely busted. Requires no bricks, pays half which helps rex, and every meta deck uses spells. It can negate spells and therefore rex, stops 0atk monsters which bypass rex and you can summon 4 bodies which allow you to otk next turn or u can turn the other 2 bodies with no effect into s:p for a banish. Only weakness are shifter and ash but its all good if it gets ashed/impulsed as that means your morphia cards can't be ashed/impulsed. Imo sphere mode is better than lava golem. Sooo many decks end on 3 bodies and you can grab it of duality. I think crossout is bad. Judgment/ iron thunder has more synergy with our strategy and can negate impulse. i think you are sleeping on dugares, s:p. If you alert in ep, for 2 level 4's you can on your turn make them into dugares, reborn therazia, set an engine trap, and turn therazia and dugares into s:p. S:p banish an opponents card. Its so much better than laggia/dolka. It's even come up in games where therazia has been negated turn 1. I survive turn 2 and then I normal diplos turn 3. And get to engine thru the combo.

What does your extra deck look like? Can't tell if I should run 3 copies of Rexterm and Kentregina, or just 2 each. Having trouble fitting stuff in the extra.

​@h.t.xyahir652 it's more a turn 3 play, but the play is Alert on the opponents Endphase which bypasses the restriction of only being able to play dinomorphia cards so on your turn you can then overlay into Raiders Then use Raiders effect to rank up into the xyz dragon
