Ollie definitely got "carried away" alright, in the air. Lol! Still Ollie is gonna remember that moment for the rest of his life, hes gonna think a lot "I never should have let Freddie talk me into doing it"

Same here. Never a fan of the original, but this sequel series is great - and paved the way for sequel tv movies and sequel series of other shows, including Full House and Dallas.

Didnt know about this show. Grew up watching Leave It To Beaver. This episode fell on my 27th birthday. Thank you and enjoying watching the episodes now even at the age of 65. Miss seeing Ward Clever though.

The original Leave it to Beaver was a classic. This is a novelty. No insult intended, but I think that about describes it.

I have to admit that I thought that this was going to be a dumb episode, but they pulled it off brilliantly. Though I must admit I thought that there would be a reference to Beaver falling into a giant bowl of soup on the billboard some 20-25 years earlier. All that said, Eric and Ken were hilarious in the closing scene- "Well, I cant promise, but the odds are astronomical against the same set of circumstances arising a second time" and "Son, I haven't I taught you anything at all? When you have a sure thing, you bet the limit!"- Funny stuff.

This is hilarious. Even in the 1980's, people were doing stuff like this.

poison ivy isnt contagious like a virus it'd just be like if you come into contact with it. i had a friend growing up get it but we still played (we were all in elementary school) this was in the 90s

can you try to post more?
@shettrick3 жыл бұрын
Post more what? I've posted all 101 episodes of Still/New Leave it to Beaver here, and posted more than 100 other videos of Leave it to Beaver cast members in other movies and TV shows before and after Leave it to Beaver. Enjoy watching all 200 of those videos
@ClassPresidentAlejandro19993 жыл бұрын
@@shettrick thanks then but you should make a playlist of it that way I can watch it
@shettrick3 жыл бұрын
@@ClassPresidentAlejandro1999 Yes, because I live to serve you. That's a lot of work for your benefit - what's in it for me? haha. And if I did that, Beaver fans would not watch any of my other videos. Again, no benefit to me to create a playlist for your convenience. But maybe I will do that anyway sometime
@ClassPresidentAlejandro19993 жыл бұрын
@@shettrick well probably a lot of people would watch the playlist if you did cause it's hard for me to find each of those videos separately so I would be glad if you did that
@shettrick3 жыл бұрын
@@ClassPresidentAlejandro1999 I understand that would make it easier for you. And I may do that at some point, but it's a bit of work and I already spent two years transferring my old Betamax tape copies of the show to digital and improving the video and audio quality and then posting them on KZbin. Almost a full-time job for which I do not make a penny no matter how many people watch them, and it actually costs me money for the equipment. And then the 100 other videos of cast members in other shows is enormously time-consuming. Many episodes have tens of thousands of views and many hundreds have commented that they have found and watched every episode I have posted, so I know people are doing it, even if it's not quite as super simple as you would prefer. So, as I say, I may get around to doing that at some point, but it's not my highest priority right now but glad you are enjoying them.

The kids are great actors. Notice how Jerry Mathers' lines were limited. He is stiff and looks like a dude who is reading lines.
@shettrick4 жыл бұрын
Actually, as show goes on he has many episodes in which he is the center character with the most lines
@jonirving56064 жыл бұрын
@@shettrick Too bad. The kids are more talented.
@shettrick4 жыл бұрын
Remember this show only got made and ran four seasons because of the interest in seeing the kid actors from original series as adults, especially Jerry - maybe you're not from that age group. It was a necessary and nice balance of appeasing that audience with the new kid actors, who did indeed do a good job.
@walterschivo91234 жыл бұрын
@@shettrick I feel everybody contributed to make the show good, adult and kids alike.

Was noticing that. The scene where he lectures Oliver seems stiff and mechanical. Rather unconvincing performance. A father telling his son that he had frightened him with no more passion than reading the back of a cereal box.
