I think that's the magic powder that made the earlier BF games so good. It's just good gunplay and good maps, not that many magic gadgets. I feel like Dice tried to make BF more "epic" when the "epicness" or "only in Battlefield" came from the players in a destructible sandbox, not from silly mechanics and gadgets.

The amount of weapons, setting and stuff is by far the best in BF4. But I genuinely think the gun-game and movement was superior in BFV. It felt so damn smooth and snappy. BF4 absolutely shows it's age in movement etc.

This Battlefield gets tons of likes because it reminds us of when we used to watch you play with Matimio, Levelcap, Xfactor, and Jet. It was a solid crew to watch because of the diversity of game play style,, along with the commentary amongst you guys. The closest thing to it would be Warzone during lockdowns. But it still doesn't hold the heart to me, like this game and that crew. I remember playing with my son on this one. Thanks again for the walk down memory lane and sorry for being so winded.

Those were the days, built my first gaming PC for BF4. Remember being so hurt about the game being in a poor state. Boy did that foretell things to come for DICE in future entries. The launches have just become worse and worse. BF4 at least worked off of BF3 and was shaped into a masterpiece through the PTE.

6:00 is exactly why I come back to this game. It really is a game that's kinda like riding a bike. The recoil patterns, the knowledge of when to push or what tricks you can and can't do, for some reason after a while it just sticks to you.

NOPE Bf its from all games from its kind one of the most overwhelming experiences with the roles thanks to the class system even enlisted with the alot of chaos per match you can feel when someone its making a good job with its platoon, An Good engineer, radio operator, Aviator, tanker, Assaulter, even the flamethrower guy can make alot of difference on the match because its role its based on the task for that unit, same goes for other games like SQUAD, HLL, where roles are Limited per squad members, and where if the unjustified use of the role in the Squad will lead of strip of that role from you

I bought the game as soon as it dropped, as I had played BF3 a looot, and let me tell you I never felt so amazed with a game before, the gunplay, the content, weapons, crates, everything was so fun, thought out and overall just fulfilling. Gunplay, teamplay, lighting, textures, environment, sound, movement, everything's just better than 2042 despite being almost a decade older. I got 2042 during the summer sale, played it and though "hmm, it's alright" went out and saw my Dad playing BF4 and it's such a night and day difference. What kills 2042 for me is how samey all the environments are and how textures look like plastic on ultra settings.

I put a lot of time into BF4, though thinking back, there were elements of BF3 I think stood out better. Obviously 4 had more customisation options and so on, but I honestly think BF3 had a cooler selection of maps, and it was nice the way BF3 divided the weapons between factions until you unlocked down the line, as opposed to BF4 starting everyone out with the same gun.

Would love to see them make it so when your team is out of tickets it doesn't just end but instead you fight to the last man but your marked on the map for the enemies or something so you can have a chance to come back when it's close. And the mark would prevent you from hiding forever.

BF4 just feels so gritty whereas 2042's new map doesn't even feel like a warzone. The colours are too saturated and everything's so clean. Even things like rusty pipes and stuff are missing in 2042 it has no real atmosphere

I'm an infantry player but I never feel like playing in Infantry only servers. The addition of tanks, choppers and jets just bring a whole different feel of war which makes the game feel completely different. Although I hate being completely dominated by vehicles, but this dilemma of wanting vehicles to be there even without not being a vehicle player makes Battlefield such an interesting game

I wish I could have enjoyed bf4 in it's prime, there just ain't any good modern shooters out there anymore except for this masterpiece of a game.

Been playing b4 since release, nothing else really held a candle to it. Love seeing jack bringing attention back to the game. The community is still healthy and active. You can always find games to jump into from the browser.

I think the maps, gun play, and the class restraints all work well together on BF4. They kept it simple and it works.

Gameplay looks unreal still. It’s even better as everyone uses different guns. I remember the kill feed always been ACE 52 or AEK. Still my fav game out off the Battlefield series

Always loved this game, vehicles were my jam, I loved tear-assing around in the little-bird. Even got decent enough to fly into a few buildings. Great game, great fun.

God you’re so right about the guns and their character, every gun feels unique and great in their own right. 2042 guns all feel like they’re made of plastic and feel the same.
