I have really bad Esophageal Esophagitis. I have had to have procedures 7 times to remove food that has gotten stuck. My last procedure was almost a year ago. The doc prescribed Pantoprazole. Since then I have not had any food get stuck. It's been a game changer. Good luck with your EOE.

I totally agree with your take on the medical industry and drug laws. I was bit by a tick and battled Rocky MTN Spotted Fever for awhile with little to no help from "western" doctors. The symptoms were debilitating and interrupted my life on many levels including mountain biking taking it a back seat in my life. It wasn't until I found an Integrative Medicine doctor (combing western and eastern medical knowledge) that I was able to start managing the disease! After antibiotics we focused on diet, lifestyle, and stress management...all of which were root causes to why the RMSF flared up in the first place. It's something I have to live with for life but I've learned how to manage it by straying from traditional Western medicine and discovering practices such as Ayurveda and really understanding MY chemistry. It's sad our medical system is designed this way and I am hopeful we can integrate ALL medical knowledge and have better support for the people!
@bkxc9 күн бұрын
Good on you! Glad you were able to actually come through the other side. We've got MUCH to learn about our bodies, the real final frontier.

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style I would rather be out on the trails. Hitting dirt jumps Makes my heart pump And the climbs keep me fit. It’s the gift that keeps giving all year. Mountain trails cure what ails. Time on my bike makes me happy. Ring-a-ling. My phone rings. My buddy says let’s go ride. Blazing descents, hopping tree roots. Round the switchbacks with ease. Every trail brings a jolt of elation. From the trailhead to the summit, It’s a feeling we seek. On two wheels, we are happy and free. Mountain trails cure what ails Time on my bike makes me happy Ring-a-ling. My phone rings. My buddy says let’s go ride. (Thanks to BCBR for this song adaptation)

So weird that they wouldn't allow ebikes on a natural cut trail that's not perfect by any means(looks fun that way) that's like straight up or down. Won't destroy trails, and wont be going insanely fast up hill and same speed downhill.

What were you expecting?
@dlwilliamson564419 күн бұрын
It is a challenging climb and great for training if you are getting ready for Breck Epic or Transrockies ST-6. These trails will definitely get your lungs to leak out of your ears. For me, there is a pay off because the downhill on Avery requires you to let go of fear and go with flow. Sorry you do not ike these.
