Jomez has played a truly special role in the development of disc golf - original video ideas that vibe perfectly with the overall atmosphere of the sport and encourage a uniquely intimate connection between fans and pros. Can't find anything like it in other sports. These practice rounds are a perfect example - Jerm, Uli, and Nate are incredibly funny, witty, kind, and good at what they do, and we're so grateful to have them. Such a cool thing what they and Jomez have created. Guests usually do a great job respecting this and do their best to assimilate with this kind and humble environment while still occasionally throwing some appropriate smack talk. AB did that well (what a great person and player), but Gannon failed (for the first time I can remember) and it was frustrating. The "banter" between Gannon and AB was one-sided and disrespectful, the arrogance coming off last week was obvious. Left me missing Uli and Nate. Gannon is clearly a phenomenal player and has tremendous potential for growth in these regards. I hope to see humbleness and chill prevail in this sport for decades to come.

Several pros have strong sports' backgrounds: both McBeth and Wysocki were potential pro shortstops; Kevin Jones was quarterback and punter for Ark. State and they went 8-3 and won their bowl; Kevin averaged 46 yds/punts; that's darn good; I'm sure there are others, just don't know them. I've always thought that McB and Wysocki had such snap was because of their shortstop play--it's a long way to first base, you better have a really good wrist/arm.
