Bonjour la famille. to those who want to re-purpose the once used items on the homestead for second-round of use, a big Tinkle Palace hello to you all. a zen, a laid-back and no-stress work together was fun to watch. your handsome eldest son was well framed in the door opening; the cute photobomber was ever present, eldest daughter quickly eating, i hope ice cream in the background and His Royal Prince, youngest son, was the charmer of the day. he is a crack-up all the time. After checking out other channels on HyperAdobe red bag builds, this family's perfectionism definitely stands out or call it attention to detail. And I know I shouldn't compare but, I mean like come on..... Night and day. It's the only one I've seen so far that is perfectly even up and down the finished walls on both sides. Every layer, the bags are lined up perfectly. Others are very uneven in layer after layer...almost looks like the structure could topple. Also Tiny Shine...very clean.

Are you remembering to not do a big overhang over the frames? I remember Ashley talking a lot about how the overhang on the frames for the chicken garden made things harder when it came to plastering. Also, are you including any built-in storage for toilet paper and hay/sawdust/anything else you're going to need in the cacasita? A little shelf that can hold a book or two and a nice smelling candle, maybe? Medicine cabinet? Secure storage and disposal for menstrual products? A way to signal whether it's currently occupied? Just trying to spitball before the project is completely finished and it gets way harder to add these details. You're right by the solar panels, so I assume there'll be electric light for nighttime. There should be an outdoor light, and if it's the kind that switches on when it gets dark or the motion detection kind is probably better than a light you have to turn on manually - you don't want guests stumbling around your property in the dark when they really need the bathroom, you know? Great progress, exciting to see it all come together, as always. 🙂

That red bag mesh, is the best thing to scrub your body with when bathing, especially if you can get a piece that's about three-and-a-half to four feet long. Take each end in your hands and swipe that thing across your back when it's all 🧼 soapied up, scrub down from head to every toe. So exhilarating. Forget those tiny little scrubby things from Dollar Tree that are too soft. I can only get it from a certain grocery store from the produce department, but too rarely. Also great for washing other things like dishes and cars. Or a tiny shiny home.

How do you like doing the square corners on your building versus large radiuses rounded ones. It seems like the rounded corners would be faster to lay.

Personally I don't love either - much prefer laying circles :) Rounded corners are faster, but harder to stay consistent when you make that turn. But square corners it's hard to get the bag exactly the right length to match up so... 🤷🏼‍♂️
