AKMU and WINNER debuted in the same year and are very well loved by GP in SKOREA by all ages tbh. That’s why whenever both groups release new music, they suit all demographics and their music tops a lot of the music charts. That’s why for me, AKMU and WINNER has this ability to do well with any kind of genre of music and it will still do amazingly well in the music charts. Their music is for everyone and it’s easy listening, which is quite refreshing in the world of Korean music. Of course some title tracks might not be people’s preference or the style they would want to hear from AKMU (or WINNER), but both groups love to experiment with different genre and will release the music despite it might not being a specific genre that SKOREA will like..but we love that about both groups. They are their own unique artists and have their own music identity. After all, AKMU and WINNER is literally the only group from the OG YG family that renewed their contracts in YGE. I mean SECHSKIES is technically 1st generation idols, but they did not come from YG..they signed with YG in 2016 when the members reunited and wanted to do music again after a long time. We know that BIG BANG members individually have signed with different companies to do solo activities for now. We know 2NE1 disbanded and the members slowly opted out of YG and signed with diff companies for solo activities. Lee Hi left the company for better opportunities…the scandals that happened causing 2 artists to leave in 2018-2019. IKON decided to not renew with YG and left for a different company. BLACKPINK renewed as a group in YG, but for solo activities they got their own company. That leaves WINNER and AKMU as well as SECHSKIES as YG seniors for the new YG gen artists TREASURE and BABYMONSTER. In which all groups have been really great in supporting and guiding the new artists ever since Day 1..since those kids were trainees. It’s just really crazy for me because I’ve been a fan of kpop since 2008 and discovered big bang and YG around that time. There used to be so many amazing talented artists from ballads, pop, and r&b…even though YG was known as a HIP HOP music label/company. The YG artists at that time were literally like a FAMILY..which is why they were called YG FAMILY and even have a song called, YG FAMILY where 1st and 2nd generation YG artists rapped and sang together. There used to be so many collaborations and YG Family concerts too. It continued even when Lee Hi, AKMU, and WINNER/Team B (IKON) joined the YG Family. They were included in YG Family Concerts and tours. Then all of a sudden after 2015, it stopped. We still had fun collaboration between YG artists, but then again it stopped after 2016. Even though YG artists themselves still felt like a family, I really felt that the fandoms or the people coming into YG family fandom only joined for certain groups or artists. There started to become some kind of divide and bad apples or “fans” started creating issues and it’s still very much like this now. Which is sad for me…every YG artists interactions is seen as “oh these old flops just want clout or views”..”who are these nobodies?” “They are using so and so popularity to get attention”… it’s just honestly so childish to me. There’s nothing wrong for wanting to support a fellow YG artist and there’s nothing wrong if they want to collaborate with each other even if it’s just in a TikTok dance challenge. Then when there’s no interaction..people complain that YG family is fake..and I’m just like WOW nothing pleases you haters for real. If other YG artists breathes, y’all want to drag or compare successes for no reason. Ahhh sorry for the long rant..I just feel very sad on how kpop fandoms can be nowadays. What happened to just wanting to support music that makes you feel good?? Also, it makes me sad seeing people who claim to be YG fans leaving out WINNER and AKMU in compilations or praising YG artists. Yeah these groups might not be hard hitting hip hop..but they still have YG essence in their songs and delivery even if it’s a different genre. But again preferences I guess.😂

you are not sorry for the rant lol!! and thank you for the rant i am surprised i actually read it all it was entertaining though. I agree the fandom has changed alot and i think its just because there is more access to social media and people can hide behind it but also people are just unhappy and never satisfied. too much stimulation!! I love Yg and talked to my older sister about Kpop and didnt realize that there are other label with great groups for example SM JYP there's other too. I think YG caters to hip hop and R&B more so thats why i stick with alot of their groups but i will look at other groups as well. AKMU are as human as they can be. They do it for the sole purpose of just loving to make music. I dont think they have many extrinsic value to music. YG wont be YG without the artist and groups that have left which is sad but it has always been business for them and it cant always be about business when you are dealing with people

yess!! its a song that you have to leave all your worries behind and just get to enjoy the music. It almost makes you want to be happy. I think they make music based off of their emotions ahha. they choose an emotion and make a whole song about it

akmu had very serious topics addressed in the previous comebacks and it was more like the brother, so he promised suhyun to make a happier lighter song next so this was more suhyun lee is their last name and they wanted to play off the adjective lovely love lee!!! love them. it's a love song tho, they're saying no matter what their lover does it's lovely because they're in love!!! lots of love lol the video is so them. suhyun is playing cupid for her brother and wants him to find someone but shes the one who ends up with a boyfriend lol they made this dance challenge fun and easy to follow and did it with so many celebrities. i still recommend their song with iu nakka and also suhyun song with epik high

they make very cheesy songs and have very cutesy themes but i dont think anyone can do it better than them. You can feel the love they have for eachother and people throughout their songs. Some of their songs are serious but some are just fun. It allows you to not worry or stress and enjoy the day. Thats actually funny! i feel like it always happens that way. Cupid ends of falling in love before the person that is playing cupid. Wait does she really have a boyfriend?
