Rose pruning and climbing rose training/pruning, wisteria pruning, border mulching and fruit tree pruning kept me busy all winter. I need one of those etesia mowers!!!!

Funny how we all have our own techniques, i strim Anti clockwise as the other way just feels wrong to me now, but the main reason is strimmers throw out to the left due to how they rotate so doing it your way throws it into the borders and driveway rather than back in…👍
@LewisgardenservicesLtd9 ай бұрын
We sure do, anticlockwise for me feels wrong unless the wall next to the lawn is painted white 😂

Good point mate. Most commercial contracts are still set up for 14 cuts same as parish councils as they are still living like it’s the 90s and grass cutting was April to September.

This is our third week of the ‘cutting season’ Some of the grass we shouldn’t of cut with how wet it’s been but everything is growing like crazy right now so we’re trying to stay on top of things. During winter it was fencing, building planters and lots of leaf clearing.

You down south? Great to get done what you can tho and you're right, keeping on top of it is sometimes worth the mess made. Cheers for checking in👍👍

I generally cut grass all year round always have. Not all lawns but several every month or so as it really never stops growing. I'm right by the sea with Subtropical gardens a stones throw away, so it's pretty mild. Where I've been today I generally cut all yr round with the ride on but it's been so wet all winter I've never had a chance. It's literally 12" high and lush green now😫 ideal for 🐑🐏 but can't unfortunately. It's all strimmed today just waiting for some dry weather!!! My Husqvarna 216awd is going to struggle like made and it's going to look awful afterwards🙉👍
