5:42 This is a really small thing, but it is comforting that Jackie is so confident and enthusiastic about putting herself out there for so many people to see without makeup. I’ve got sensory issues so makeup is a no for me, but I’ve always felt a little out of place for not wearing it when everyone else around me does. I have worn make up about a dozen times in my 70 years, it is not something my friends and I ever got into. Many many people do not wear it, it just seems everyone does because the ones you see on tv and youtube etc usually do. PS. I love all chocolate, but especially dark.

I used to wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipstick, usually all in black back in high school, but I honestly never did get into the full face stuff because it just looked weird or I'd smudge or sweat it off. I have vitiligo as well which showed up right before my makeup wearing years, so getting an even coat has always been difficult without going super thick, and my eyelids are super oily so makeup creases off so quickly. I've found some eyeshadow sticks that actually blend in and stick without primer, but that's about it. Now I'm a disabled homebody, and I'm not putting on makeup to go see my various doctors a few times a week. Pretty much the only reason I leave the house anymore. Sooo...meh.

Almond Joy and Mounds are the same candy. One is with almonds. Also, Almond Joy is milk chocolate whereas Mounds is dark chocolate. Commercials always advertised them together with the catchphrase " Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't!"

The Juicy Juice 100% apple juice has citric acid (added to prevent the juice from browning) and Vitamin C, and water added to dilute the concentrated apple juice - pretty minimal additions, and mostly necessary...

Juice from concentrate is different to juice marked as not from concentrate! Not from concentrate is the freshly squeezed juice but when it is marked as 100% from concentrate, its been processed differently. Usually they will evaporate the water to turn it in to a powder (because it's cheaper to transport). They will then add the water back, plus any additional vitamins and preservatives, before bottling and distributing (as is my understanding! 😀)

There really isn’t anything shady about the apple juice 😂 The added ingredient in the Juicy Juice is just more Vitamin C. It already exists in the juice, they just add more to fortify it - that’s why they can still accurately say it’s 100% juice.

Have you ever heard of "Almond Joy"? "Mounds" is from the same company, but instead of milk chocolate over almonds and coconut, it's just dark chocolate over coconut as a two piece candy bar. A popular American candy for older people, it's one of the fancier candy you can grab at the convenience store. 😁

Mounds are called Bounty bars in Canada, they are very popular. Almond Joy does exist here but it's not nearly as popular as Bounty bars. Speaking of candy differences, Smarties are very different here, they are similar to M&M's. What you guys call Smarties, we call Rockets. Most US products are available in Canada (if they pass our more stringent food safety rules) but we also have local brands & UK stuff, so if we are unfamiliar with a brand name, it's more likely to just be called something different here

Whenever we do surprise boxes of any kind and get doubles, we save them in a drawer, when we have a few of the same type of thing, we bag them in a clear bag and give them to a charity shop, it's really cool when you see a child's face light up because they don't have some of the ones in the bag.

If anyone is looking for a good aluminum free deodorant, I use a Winnipeg based brand called Just the Goods that handmakes all of their stuff. The unscented one has a mild, citrusy smell imo and the lavender one also smells really amazing if scents don't bother you. 10/10, would recommend their face washes and lotions too.

I'm gonna hop in here with a rec too, as someone who avoids aluminum but also has ultra sensitive skin (Because trying out alternative deodorants can get pricey!) Almost every.single. aluminum-free deodorant I've used either 1. makes me smell worse (lookin at you, Tom's) or 2. causes a painful rash to break out after a couple of applications. If that experience sounds familiar to you, I highly recommend you try out Kiss My Face's roll on deodorant! I'm loyal to the patchouli scent, but they have others as well. It's amazing!

Those bao buns are really nice (though i not had duck flavour). They are micro 60 secs per bun! A bit of a faff if you want to cook the whole pack. If you try to cook all at once they burn in the middle.

Hi Jackie. Mini Brands has items with actual stuff inside of them that they don't inform their buyers. There are only a few that have stuff in them. The troubling thing is that there's no way to open them other than to use a serrated knife/saw or pliers. The Bazooka gum is one of those unique items. Inside is a clump of pink bubblegum peices. It would be way cuter if you didn't have to pry open the plastic package.

With the bazooka gum another youtuber opened it and its actually a ball of tiny pieces of the gum all stuck together. Now in my opinion if they are going to go that far then why not make these minis with the mini product inside them they can obviously do it ey ? Love your channel i bought your second craft box last year I havent attempted to make it yet but OMG the stuff you have packed in the box is absolutely amazing for the price. I live in Australia so I did pay the higher price but im not complaining because even paying that extra its still worth it so if anyone hasn't bought it and they want it I would highly recommend you jump on it now because Jackie has said they dont have many left and once its gone its gone and I am absolutely devastated that I missed out on the first box because I just love the mold that come with it and if I could buy the mold on its own I would definitely buy it I wouldn't even look at the price tag I would just buy it Much love Jackie ❤

Re White Chocolate: not much of a fan, but I will tolerate Lindt's or Toblerone. Otherwise gimme brown or dark. On Make-Up: I have tried dozens of brands for my sensitive skin as well. So far, what has worked for me is Youngblood or Jane Iredale. I also do not use liquid foundation even from these two brands. Apparently powder foundation is less irritating. To keep the shine off, loose finishing powder. Hope this helps--for those need-to-have-make-up-occassions. Thank you for your reviews (salty or not!)🧂

I had the same issue. I stopped using deodorants with aluminum since it's been linked with breast cancer. Unfortunately, I can't use natural deodorants either because most contain baking soda which causes me to get rashes in my armpits. I actually found a recipe for a natural Himalayan salt deodorant spray that you can customize with whatever essential oil(s) you like; the salt actually kills the bacteria that causes b.o. rather than just covering it up and it's super easy and inexpensive to make! So that might be an option for you if you still have a hard time finding aluminum free deodorants. 🙂

I had the exact same issue, and before I discovered my go-to I wasted a lot of money on trying products that just gave me painful rashes. Hi Jackie! I really like these unboxing videos if you can call it that. I'm also allergic to makeup. I've not worn makeup in years. I've decided to age gracefully and not hide my face with chemicals. May the mini brands Gods favor you with good items! As for chocolate I like milk and dark. For some reason I can't have white chocolate. It's not technically a chocolate at all.

But white chocolate dos have enough chocolate so that you shouldn't give it to your dog. If it's not really white chocolate it's called creme, as in white Kit Kats

BTW Mounds and Almond Joy are basically siblings. They're both coconut and chocolate but Almond Joy has 1 almond on the top of each half. Otherwise they're identical. 😁💜

Jackie, I too cannot use normal deoderants, but have found Native to be the best thing since Adidas made an aluminum free one way back when, when they stopped making it I was a sad panda until I tried Native and have been using it since I found it and love it.
