Jakie if you look at the bottom of the stand and the bottom half of the ball it's supposed to clip into there is a little round notch and you have to line those up for it to clip in. I know you said sometimes it won't clip in I think you may not have noticed it because it's the same color as the rest and really subtle.

Jackie I hope you see this, but if you take a flame (campfire lighter works best) over the resin for a quick second it will pop all the air bubbles. Its very handy with these tiny projects!

I am a former school cook, and I can tell you that the kids loved when we had ham and pineapple. They were all picky and loved it! The combination of very salty ham and sweet pineapple is a win win!

@@laurfincher8137 Northern Ohio. We have sadly had more rain than snow this year. A few years ago we had a severe cold spell that had overnight windchill temps at negative 40 for several days. My husband works nights so we were awake during the coldest times. We had the front door open with the screen door closed and several windows open. We had so much energy we got a lot of housework done!

When I did the Easter basket one I also put in some eggs-tra cookie and candy bits that I had left over from other Miniverse kits. I also used some uv resin to secure everything together. Turned out really cute!

You can't shake the eggs, Jackie! LOL That whole process is meant to be a mini version of dyeing Easter eggs. It's so adorable! Especially the little egg dipper. It is kind of annoying that the water turns white with each egg though. But, either way, in real life I suggest people stick with the dipping and not try to shake them. They will break. 🤣 The added bowl was a cute touch. When I was a kid, we used to use coffee mugs and each mug got a different color dye.

Also, I make my Christmas Hams like this... We call it hedgie ham. It's my grandma's recipe. We do Ham, poke lots of holes and pour coke over it super slowly (from the can, not bottles). Then we put the pineapple and cherry ontop with toothpicks. It's so good.

Sometimes when I am in the middle of a creative project and the materials I am working with don't do as I want, I tell them off, so I am glad to see I am not alone in that :) . One of my favourite dishes that combines savoury with sweet is a slow cooked tajine with lamb and prunes (pruneaux) :) . I'm always happy to see you 'figuring out' these mini-verse projects, and this time I unfortunately spoilered myself as I had seen GB Kuhleen's take on it, but I still seriously enjoyed watching your version. :) Bisous de Paris :) xx

Sweet and salty made me think of cheese and pineapple hedgehogs. A chunk of cheese and a chunk of pineapple on a toothpick, stuck into tinfoil to make a hedgehog. No 80s UK children's party was complete without one!

Hey Jackie! I like baked beans in maple syrup BUT it is sickly sweet. I tried something, I put one tablespoon of sour cream to 1 can of baked beans. Man that was a great decision! It cut down on the sweetness and added a creamy-ness to it!
