I feel all of your points are 100% valid. You have to bear in mind though, when these made their debut through DC Collectibles they were touted as more art pieces than actual figures. The more articulation,the more it breaks up the sculpt but I get it, that’s not why we buy our figures.

The DC Universe Mattel Batman Beyond figure that came with a Terry McGinnis head sculpt still remains the superior Batman beyond figure. It even came with rocket boots you could put on the bottom of the feet. Second best Batman Beyond figure (in my opinion) is the DC Multiverse Batman Beyond figure that came out years ago. It had alternate hands, a angry Batman head & wings.

I’ve seen the direct figure at least 5 times and have passed every time. I’m good with the multiverse figure especially since the batmobile is coming soon
