2 years for development isn't as much of an issue as i think some make it out to be. Andor took 5 years to get underway. There is a lot to agree on before getting to per-production. Even if the partnership (regarding Henry + Amazon) did break up, There are a million reasons as to why, most of which are harmless, but annoying to people like us who are on the outside looking in. You can look up directors and writers on how they've gone through the Hollywood system to get projects going, or tried to. Get to the development stay is the least of your worries. But that kind of thing doesn't make the good rage bait content on YT. So, you ain't going to see that and instead will hear empty barrels making the most noise. I am still open and looking forward to see what Blur studios is going to do with 40k in secret level. I'll take it for what it is, just like I did with Astartes shorts that were put on YT ages ago now. I personally can't see a live action 40k going on at Amazon, cause that's a lot of money. For us it might be a no brainer, but we aren't the general audience who will give the returns needed. It has to be great, not just for us.
