This video is the complete works of Dr. Steffan Hoffman, detailing his travels from his first adventure all the way up to the very end, where he faces the allure of Chaos and destiny reveals itself to him. This series was a total delight to make! Basing our explorer in the world of Warhammer Fantasy was the perfect setting to explore the many creatures that inhabit this world while at the same time giving ourselves a bit of creative freedom to come up with some narratives to add up to the overall story. Adam R., with his voice and narration, gave life to Dr. Hoffman throughout the series while Skrubasauras and others contributed with quotes and character interactions to make for a rich and varied cast of characters. We hope you enjoy this journey and we look forward to seeing your comments and/or any constructive feedback. We plan to return to the Old World through the eyes of Dr. Steffan Hoffman next year with a few more stories and adventures. Chapters have been added with their own timings so you can look for the sections that call your attention throughout the video. Enjoy my friends!!

This is why Warhammer Fantasy will always be superior to Warhammer 40k. Stories like this are all but impossible in 40k, little moments of appreciation for the world you live in, a harsh yet beautiful world with light at the end of the tunnel and an gratitude for the little moments. Unlike in 40k where all you get is grimdark, grimdark, and even more grimdark to the point of grimderp, its like eating the same meal over and over again. It may be harsh but it was much better put together with races working together much more than in 40k, the reminder of why the humans of that setting still remain and even thrive, and its not filled with an autistic obsession for grim darkness. Even when GW, in it’s eternal greed and stupidity “killed” the setting, it still lives on forevermore. Thank you Dr. Steffen Hoffmann, Biologist and Zoologist for helping us understand life’s great pattern, and thanks to all those who made this video, excellent work!

1. That shit with the dwarf at the end was the most adorable shit ever and shows why people LOVE Fantasy Dwarves despite (or, depending on who you ask in addition to) being petty motherfuckers for life And 2. This is why I prefer Fantasy over 40K. Fantasy understands what grimdark is better than the franchise that was meant to expand on grimdark. While, yeah, both definitely are grimdark, they're grimdark for different reasons; 40K is grimdark because of (insert reason why characters haven't fixed the way shit is in over 30,000 years since Earth was colonized and/or do what to any sane person in the 21st century understands is a stupid thing that makes a desperate situation even more desperate (looking at you Magnus, you did so many things wrong)) and for the most part, while it definitely is fun and the stories can be fun, too, when ingested by themselves, it's kinda like Family Guy clips: you realize that despite all the shit that makes all this entertaining, any attempts to fit story into the overall picture is rendered null by EVERYONE being an unlikeable asshole. Over in Fantasy though, genuinely good people don't just exist, but excel at what they do and the civilizations that aren't territorial or war-like factions are genuinely trying to just get by while not subjugating their population to ridiculous rules for contrived reason #588000000000001 and actually wanting to see their people genuinely thrive. Hell, after he received a lore refresh, even more temperamental rulers like Settra, while fairly volatile, had their people's best interest in mind before nearly anything else, with the only priority for Settra beyond that being to assert that Settra was the greatest, and he wasn't an idiot (again, after his lore refresh) who, in 40K, would have shot people for so much as questioning his word, instead just not giving them many reasons to complain in the first place (basically Korea but actually effective enough to not be defeated by feeding their people a box of Pop Tarts)
