Hearing people that sound like me and not having it be a piss take is very cool to me. I keep hearing Doric and Glaswegian in a video game and it's so funny. I forget that because I'm from Scotland and are therefore used to it someone who isn't from here might have no idea what's being said if it weren't for the subtitles.

It's always interesting to me how they use diabetes/insulin incorrectly in movies and games as a plot device. High blood sugar (not taking/having insulin) takes days to severely impact someone, low blood sugar (taking insulin and not eating) is much more dangerous as it could cause you to blackout and eventually have seizures in a matter of hours if you don't get food/sugar in you. It would make more sense if characters went low blood sugar and then had to find something sweet.

@@burnedsmackdown4209 I get that, but how they reference/use insulin in media is usually incorrect. I've been T1 diabetic for 16 years, your blood sugar need to be within a specific range, it can't be too low or too high. Food makes blood sugar rise, insulin makes blood sugar drop, but high blood sugar is a long term problem, low blood sugar is a short term problem. Not taking your insulin (high blood sugar) for a day wouldn't affect you to the point where you can't physically function. It'll make you a little dehydrated, pee more, and might give you a slight headache. Over like a week your condition will slowly worsen w/o insulin, but generally you can still function. Before I was diagnosed, I went a whole month w/o insulin, got very sick of course, but it took an entire month to get to a point where I needed to be hospitalized. low blood sugar, taking insulin w/o eating something, on the other hand will essentially start off feeling like a crippling panic attack and can result in blackouts and seizures within several hours. Low blood sugar results in heart palpitations, intense sweating, hunger, confusion, disorientation. Low blood sugar needs to be dealt immediately cause you likely wouldn't survive more than 24 hours being low blood sugar. So it would make a lot more sense if characters were going low blood sugar and needed you to find them a sugary snack/food to stabilize their sugars.

I empathize a lot with this. I think they would’ve done better by making his death a bit more clear. He was definitely under stress, using more of his body’s resources, and probably very dehydrated. Could’ve easily led to a heart attack in his case, aggravated by the DKA

idk what 'choke the flow' would mean in relation to the infestation; though if it is related I think it might have a double meaning, because that kind of phrasing is similar to the ubiquitous reactionary, anti-immigrant, and xenophobic rhetoric of nationalists, of which Addair is one. Even the angry 'Merry Christmas' could be playing into reactionary ideology, the Right have been pathetically attempting to make it into a culture war issue for ages, claiming that saying Happy Holidays or other more general phrases is somehow exclusive of Christians because you aren't _specifically mentioning_ their holiday. At the same time though, the infected seem to be incoherently repeating their personal fears or doubts, things they're ashamed of (either what they did to others when they were first infected or something further in their past), so I'm not sure whether what they're saying is intended to be social commentary or if it's just them mindlessly repeating their own broken thoughts.

To everyone mad/sad they most likely won’t stream more of this game: James constantly mentions not having enough time to get to all the things he wants to. I know he would love to stream playing through all these video games, do a Kill Count & podcast on every new horror movie, but that’s just not realistic. And Chelsea with the clutch video settings telling James to turn off motion blur! Little things like that really do make the game play better! Also, I don’t like that James ALWAYS second guesses Chelsea’s suggestions?! She seems to know more about games than he does so maybe start listening to her lol All love tho BGP ☠️🥩
