My dad worked on a gas rig when I was a kid and tbh the risk of it suddenly exploding (a thing that actually happened to the onshore plant a few years prior) was not nearly as terrifying to me as him telling me about having to be trained on how to safely escape the transit helicopter. Apparently when they crash in water they often turn upside down and people get confused and drown swimming to the bottom of the sea rather than going up towards the air Excited to see if this game can be more horrifying than that

It's rare to see a game like this start before everything goes wrong. I assumed the game would be a slow burn and focus more on showing a slow descent as people disappear and eventually get corrupted. However the story goes from 0 to 100 in no time. It feels like after you wake up everything is still ok if a bit broken but in a minute the whole rig got taken over. The guy who got corrupted must have been a speed runner going for a 100% corruption speedrun.

Some of the voice actors from this game sound just like a few on the audio recording! I wonder if they are the same people? Anyway this was fun and interesting to watch and the voice acting just added so much to it. When he used the phrase "up to high doh" it gave me a laugh. I've heard Irish entertainers use that phase as well so I looked up where it came from and found it was a Northern Irish and Scottish saying regarding strong frustration! Pretty much what I had figured...

Wow it's been 3 minutes and it's already so weird hearing so much Scottish in a game, I'm not sure how interested I am in this as a game but representation for my people is awesome none the less!

You know what this reminds me of? 'Underwater', that movie with Kristen Stewart (and also T. J. Miller) about a team of researches exploring an abandoned underwater mining facility.
