I played clarinet, bass, clarinet, and auxiliary percussion in high school in college. I am still friends with my band director, his daughter, other band directors and band members and band parents, more than 30 years after I graduated. Band people are the best.

I've often heard that babies kick strongly or increased shortly before death as unrecognised sign of distress. The mom thinks that baby Landon tore the placenta off but I suspect that the kicking might indicate that the abruption could have already started then. Tragic case, so sad for the parents. Sleep in peace, little soul.

So sorry for your loss and so admire you pushing through the medical ptsd to be of service. Worked in heme/onc, when you said DIC my blood ran cold. Can see you facilitating training for L+D staff in perinatal loss. Thank you for sharing
