How to spot the bootleg / KO Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Venom

I don't really collect Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech figures. I was in the midst of Marie Kondo-ing my figures and came across both of these in my stash lol. So before I let them go, here's how to differentiate them!

I’m a collector but I’m more than happy going for the knockoffs, so long as they’re of good quality. I collect for myself, not to resell. If the figure is well made and has little to no difference look wise, then I’m more than happy to buy the knock off. I don’t even care about the box.

I just bought a Revoltech Venom from AliExpress for 33 bucks. The real deal is 90-150 bucks here in Canada. I honestly hope that my Venom won't have too many loose joints or break easily considering this Venom will arrive in a Month.

Damn, some of the differences you pointed out such as the packaging differences or the different types of Revoltech joints are differences I usually pay little to no attention to

I wish the joints of both figures were the same color as the body Shoot that's a pretty damn high quality bootleg figure with very minimal differences. Basically it comes down to the glossiness and white paint work and the price difference for me $30 vs $100 XD I doubt I'll play with the figure regardless so joint tightness difference doesn't bug me. The final consideration is that my girlfriend dislikes Venom so if I can't keep it forever I feel like I'd rather buy the bootleg version 😅

Hi. Two things. Ive noticed original venom joints have curved cross on it, does bootleg joint have same cross sign? Other thing. On the second market i saw venom which have silver peg in the jaw, where original peg is rather black. Did u noticed that?

I have a wierd bootleg revoltech carnage. It has the booklet, it has the clicky joints with dots, but does have a problem with its eye being slightly badly painted. I got it for 20 bucks and the seller told me that this is a bootleg. Are the bootlegs evolving?

Just bought myself one of these Venom figures and I'm believing it to be a bootleg, it's pretty hard to tell, not all the signs brought up in this video are there (there's no '1' embossed on the alternate head piece, but the white teeth are there, etc) One thing I just want to mention to look out for: on my figure, the ball-joint on the right foot is incredibly stiff, I'm not able to move it at all, I don't want to force it and break it but that's how stiff it is, I don't think I can actually move that joint at all.
