Thank you Dear Ken! Indeed... I was even thinking to film some biking in that area for sure. Nature is "different" there compared to here, south of Rome. Maybe I'll make it somehow...Love all of the cities you mentioned; still need a long tour for Viterbo, so much to see there. I'll surely visit it soon. Wish you a nice weekend!

I liked that the old Church of St. Vito was preserved with the original fresco paintings inside. The Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta's interior is indeed a remarkable work of architecture filled with beautiful paintings. I also enjoyed the tour of the other historical buildings and monuments which was well-researched. Great drone shot in the introduction with the aerial views. Thanks again for taking us viewers on your journeys to these fantastic places.

There are similarities in these towns in center Italy, architecture, surrounded by forest, preserved castles and lots of history. The Basilica/Duomo of Nepi is massive and stunning. I enjoyed the video, thanks.

Glad you liked also Nepi Esther, I loved it as I said, as love all the area north of Rome. I'm from south of Rome but whenever I can I go there with the utmost pleasure. I'll show more towns around. Nepi isn't tiny by any means, but some towns nearby are truly tiny and stunning at the same time. Lots to see , lots to discover

All that history! Interesting town, seems to combine the old and the new. Duomo di Nepi is stunning, and I'm glad you took us down to the crypt. (I love visiting crypts). Also love how in all your videos you zoom in into interesting sites (eq. niches in the walls, steps to a house, alleys etc). Thanks again for sharing 😊

Glad you enjoyed it Geraldine and happy to see you here again) indeed..love crypts too. It was quite funny there... There's an illumination there which costs only 50cents. There's a special machine for that. I went there with a group of people, all in darkness. We took a little to figure it out )

Sí la poderosa y ambiciosa familia Borgia de origen español, emigró a Italia a finales de la época medieval e inicio del renacimiento, Rodrigo Borgia haciendo uso del nepotismo llegó a ser el papa Alejandro VI, casó a sus hijos con familias poderosas de Italia para establecer alianzas, además se dice tuvo incesto con su hija Lucrecia, durante su periodo papal Miguel Angel esculpió La Piedad, gracias Riccardo, igual pasa bonito fin de semana. 🤗 cuídate.

Dear Jessica, what a pleasure seeing your message and seeing you here all together once again. I was touched by your message, as I can totally understand the feeling for sure. I work in the field of consulting, and also for us these times are indeed tough and changing for sure. Ups and downs are continous for sure, and sometimes it's truly hard to find the force to keep on or searching on for what suits us the best. A lot of us are "in the same boat" as they say... but after every crisis, as history teaches us, there should come a rise again; let's hope for it. Hi Cheryl, very rarely I see comments from the video of Nepi... very nice to see this. I can't imagine how it was 50 years ago...I found it a very pleasant place, a chill town, relaxing to walk in and quite a nice place to live in I imagine as well. Hope you'll have a nice time there in September - always happy to see foreigners in lesser known towns instead of the "usual ones"

@@StillWanderer Hi, I'm really looking forward to going back. I'm going with my daughter. Her grandmother was born in Nepi and she still has cousins there she's never met. In the video I realised that the number of cars was due to the fact it was probably lock down there. Lots of shops were closed too. As a pale Welsh woman I just hope its not going to be too hot. By the way does it still smell of sulphur and pecorino?

Indeed it could be due to covid Cheryl, but I'm not 100% sure actually... I believe it's like that nowadays pehaps? In a way I felt the smell of sulphur near the springs , but not so strong! Pecorino... didn't smell that day (which is a shame) :)

The residents in these small towns seem to take pride in keeping their streets clean. I never see a lot of trash blowing around. They don't seem to have many street garbage containers. How do they do it?
