Howdy folk's.. Another wee video for you all.. I've mixed a few clips together from the last couple of outings I've had over the past couple of weeks.. I've still plenty more footage of fish being caught but again I'm trying to keep these vids to 30 mins or under..
It's been very hard fishing this past week.. No high numbers being reported.. Could be the weather or air temp playing havoc with the fish, but we've managed a few so I hope you's all enjoy watching...

Good video as per usual Ross. Things are pretty bad down here aswell. Out yesterday and blanked😢. Couple off guys caught a couple but was windy and rainy. Keep the videos coming 👍

Loved the video buddy! Wish I had some proper wee lochs to fish in down south of London. Can I ask what net you are using? I tend to use older kit and my nets are still knotted. Feels like I should move to the new rubber mesh style and yours looks about perfect to replace my old ones😂

Cheers bud appreciate that thanks.. I've subbed to your channel too.. Your videos will definitely get you more subs.. The quality is excellent.. The net is by a brand called fox rage.. Think this one was their urban range.. All carbon framed. Extremely light.. Only weighs 8oz but it's solid and floats well I've got a couple of sharpes nets but after yrs of usage I find the handle clips tend to corrode so I've had to insulate tape them up over time.. Still good nets tho for that extra reach

@@Caithnessflyfisher now you are talking my language. I’m a bit of a Sharpes addict. I only use their rods and reels … and I’ve included the nets on that list but they might be a bit old and heavy. I’m carrying a metric buttload of camera and drone stuff along side my fishing gear and trying to keep it all in my vest….. so a light weight carbon fibre net sounds absolutely top! I’ll check it out. Thanks very much. I really appreciate the sub, been fishing for years but not much of an expert. Use to run a video company but never actually held a camera or edited anything so I’m trying to find my way learn to film and make vids while finding places to fish in the south of England.

@@Tightlinesandscreamingreels aye good old sharpes of Aberdeen... Been using their nets for as long as I can remember.. My channels fairly basic.. But its good to show folk the local stillwater we have up here since its the UK's most northerly one... It can be a tricky place to fish at times especially at this time of year.. I just use 2 x gopros for my footage and occasionally the phone if need be.. I was thinking about a drone, but the money spent on that could actually be used for more fishing tackle 😂
