Stillwell Woods Preserve - One of our Favorite Trails in Long Island

We went back to one of our favorite trails in Long Island, NY. Stillwell Woods Preserve has a variety of trails from fast flowy section to some steep climbs. Stillwell have them all, it even have a bit of downhill section and a couple of tabletop and jumps.
If you want to practice and improve your endurance. This is the best place for you. It is also kid friendly.

Stillwell is a lot of fun, check out the yellow trails if you haven't yet, after you hit the drop/jump on orange, go straight instead of turning right into the valley, there's a sick line in there.

Amazing vid! Nice pace! I Shred Stillwell yesterday! Was my first time. got lost like crazy. What a blast! I do it on a fully suspended off road scooter. so my speeds are a little less. but my beast can hit 30MPH and on the trail I averaged 10-15.

Have you tried Hempstead Harbor Woods? Its a great trail too. Or if you like more flowy trail, try Stillwell Woods

Nice to see this place still open. I used to ride here every weekend 10-15 years ago. At the time there was talks of the county selling the property to developers. Thankfully they never did!

Also you can start on RT25 next to the Stop & Shop store there is a parking lot trail head. It a nice add on that connects to Stillwell. You should check it out if you haven't already.
