I really don't get why artists like Deadmau5 (no offense to him coz he great in his own way) got all the credit when producers like Stimming really redefined a whole genre with their interpretation of what the sound should be like and what direction it should be taking. I guess that's underground music ay.

Probably cause deadmau5 did a lot to get his name out there (I/e; remixes, or a hit song such as ghosts n stuff, and many more). As well as lots of shows he did, but I agree that there’s so much hidden talent in the underground progressive house scene.

@@gabe5875 Straight! If stimming did a Taylor Swift remix or Dated Rihanna for a while & then signed with a major label, he would be headlining Coachella making 1 million per show, but he also wouldn't be the Stimming we know and love. If you turn left, you didn't turn right.

@@beautifulcaramelman it is not that easy at all, stimming doesn't make that type of music. You can market that all u want it won't change how people think of it. If people liked his music he would have been more popular but people like pop sh"t and stimming is just not making that type of music. deadmau5 is a bit closer to making pop than stimming so rightly he is more popular plus he has his mousehead and label and famous songs like ghosts n stuffs that is close to pop. stimming isn't unknown at all lots of people know who he is. They just don't listen to his music as much. just like i know aphex twin or skrillex or rezz or whetever i know who they are i heard some of their music but i listen more and i like stimming more than i like them. Apply that to anyone when u market yourself but you cant convince someone to stay for longer times you are just going to be known and that is it. Just like I know the Avengers series it is everywhere but no amount of marketing will get me to watch it bc i am just not intrested.

Random fact: quite a few people discovered Stimming because of Deadmau5. He was a fan of Stimming and often played his music in his streamed videos. That's how I discovered Stimming back in 2010-11.
