I've loved Stimming's music for years, but don't think I've seen the man himself beyond a quick post-set interview or two, before catching these videos. What a charming and informative host! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series.

Blackwood sounds less squashed. I usually squash my mixes when I produced it on one day then try to mix it on another day.

Tolle Videoreihe, danke dafür 👍😊 Zum Thema parametrischer EQ als Freeware: was spricht gegen den TDR Nova? Der ist super transparent. TDR benutzt Du ja schon.

Hallo und danke für die tolle Videoserie. Was hälst du denn von tdr Nova?

He’s using Ableton Live Intro. EQ 8 isn’t included in that, you need the Standard or Suite versions of Ableton for that.

If you buy 2nd hand equipment that originally came with Ableton Live Lite, Ableton will give you a new licence for free. So you can get a 2nd hand midi keyboard + Ableton Live Lite for £30 in the UK.

Perhaps one can become too much accustomed to making louder a song just because it needs to get louder and at a certain LUFS nowadays. I think that it's in the best interest of the SONG first, to make it loud, but at the same time not to risk ruining or change the song's original character in the first place!

Why the title is in English if the video is in German? It doesn't make any sense
