awesome work A/Professor Rodger. Would be interesting to hear your opinion on the use of focused ultrasound or transcranial direct current stimulation to target sub-cortical regions(these are where most lesions in MS are, close to the ventricles). A downside of rTMS of course is it only being able to target the cortex. tDCS can be used at home and is a lot cheaper, this used in conjunction with brain training and physical exercise could give a larger combinational affect on remyelinating the brain. It would have been interesting to hear more about remyelination in particular - especially on the effect of electrically stimulating oligodendrocytes.
