Can it ever be both stimulus generalization and response generalization at the same time?

Does anyone else have thoughts on this questions? Not in my experience, stimuli are a part of the environment that can evoke certain behaviors whereas responses interact with the environment and are in response to stimuli. I think examples are the best way to explain.

I am confused about stimulus and response with a mock question.... say a child drinks from a can of soda and then goes to another room and sees a can of soup and then drinks from the can of soup... would that be response generalization or stimulus generalization? None of the answer choices reported faulty stimulus control....

Stimulus generalization

Good question. In this case, it is the same response but with a different stimuli, so this would be needing to teach stimulus discrimination (between the two cans). Technically, this is overgeneralization and is related to the stimuli.
