So it's hinted at that Future Lucy looses her right arm in her time, we even see earlier her opening a pen cap with her mouth rather than the other hand. And when she leapt out to block the attack only her left arm was extended instead pf both. And there is Plenty of Fan Art that interprets how she lost it, its all sad

Even in the anime, if you watched Jamie’s reaction, she actually noticed that Lucy’s arm was missing at the very start of the new season. The filler part that wasn’t in the manga where they had a rock cover future Lucy’s arm. But Jamie dismissed that thought cause she thought she had seen wrongly.

Wow, the manga moment must have been even more epic for it to happen the first time in this fight. Though, the Daphne arc does have its purpose in foreshadowing future events (the mechanical dragon knight piloted by the edolas king and what happened to the dragons)

I don’t know if anyone felt the sheer sadness of Natsu. I was so hurt after watching it for the first time so long ago. Physically and mentally. This is still one of my favorite episodes ever, Natsu rarely cries and when he does it’s serious moments when he can’t bring himself to think happy thoughts. I’m so happy that Jami has the same thoughts as me!!

Oh yeah, that golden fields scene always hits me right in the feels, and for me when I saw that the first time, it was when I was so far behind in Fairy Tail I had to binge watch episodes 190-198 all in one night to catch up, and by the end of night, I had cried so much, but it was totally worth it.

Future Lucy lost her right arm. The censorship was nicely placed but also confuses some people, especially in the dub since Lucy asks "Where is yours [talking about the guild mark]? What happend...?" instead of "Your right hand..." The censorship, besides the obvious reason, was also for foreshadowing. So this moment could be even more emotional. At least that's what I think ^^

One very happy and emotional moment, and a heartbreaking tragedy right after. You cry of happiness in one episode and of sadness in the next, they're just trying with our feelings. Also, yes, she was missing her right arm. It's even sadder when you realize she lost the arm with her guild mark along with everyone that died. As proof, we've seen her writing with her left hand on a previous episode, even though Lucy is right handed.

I love how Jura, the guy everyone considered to be the strongest participant in the games, was the one that respected Fairy Tail the most. In the anime it was not appreciated well, but mirai Lucy does not have a right arm, she lost it, so she asks Lucy to see the trademark of the guild, because she no longer has it.
