Great video Chris and Tony. Al away a good time when you 2 are in the wood yard together. A full stick of gum and a bottle of creek water rating on this video. 👍🏻👍🏻 In all honesty, great review and great information from 2 guys who use and know what works. Good Night Irene.

TCT in the house!!!!! You guys made some good points toward the end. I think a fundamental challenge with using any grapple for that purpose is the pallets preventing a horizontal approach to the pile.

I've got the 72" grapple from Titan on my TYM 574 and it will move split wood piles all day long, if it gets a chunk blocked in holding it open you just drop it and regrab.

Far as tractors go you don't really need more hp as you need larger frame. A couple companies including yours puts out small hp motors in the larger frames. Perfect combination and you save money on tractor price and fuel savings.

I wonder if you had some loose chains or netting between the grabbers if they would still close separately but hold more split wood? if i had a grapple i would try that just for fun

That's very interesting I think if you tried out the one you where talking about probably would of did what you wanted you know what you talking about that is what I like your knowledge of equipment you saw and want to give it a try cause if he would of brought other one might of worked better don't know till try maybe a video coming up thanks Chris thinking would make loading trailer easier got to work smarter not harder and moving to piles thanks again waiting for next post

Whoever said they use that to scoop out wood must not do a lot of wood. They're great for debris and brush but piles of cut wood, not so much. I wish I had more room at my shop so I could make allies todrivethrough and be right next to the piles so I dont have to fling the wood so far into the trailer but now that I have a conveyor its easy peezee

He can send me a pin on set of forks, for a FL680 kabota loader. As about 15 different loaders have the same width. LOL . The quick change plate is a negative for lifting logs as that 5" farther out dosen't help, with lift capacity. . We made oversized buckets for sawdust, a pocket for each fork and chain at the back. they double as firewood buckets well.

Luke I’m always looking for grapples that do a good job picking up split firewood. Can you tell me what brand you have?👍TCT
@lukevandermark713 күн бұрын
@TonysCoolTools i wish i could send you a picture. The ones we use for a rick, third of a cord, looks like it should be used for brush removal. But we use specifically for wood. The top has a plate all the way across the top. The bottow is inch and a half steel with 4 inch gaps. We love it.
