I've heard people say that the 1066/4020 was given by God for IH/JD to sell. Not that the Red folk said that about the Green one, or vice versa. But both were well loved by their owners.

Excellent video Tay. I can smell the diesel exhaust and the manure while watching, weird how senses are like that. Glad to see you guys are all well and getting ready for winter. I hope you, your family and friends are all staying safe and healthy Tay. Neil is sure cute, he is big enough you need to be cautious around him but he sure is cute and seems to get right out of your way. Just like wine no manure pile is ready before it's time. Your manure compost pile is looking very good, put that on your garden if you have one.

The sweet smell of success. Manure. The fertilizer of choice for small farmers. Doesn't cost much. Plenty of it. Replenished daily. And fun to spread if your name is Taylor. When I was on my uncle's farm we had a spreader that streak with paddles on the back. I c=don't care what you did you always ended up with manure stripe on your back. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Washing machines cleaned the clothes. My Aunt always rinsed out the clothes that were used for spreading. I always enjoyed farming. Wish I could do some now. If I were closer, I would go work on your farm for nothing. Have a great day and God Bless

Good hard-working people. I grew up on a dairy farm, but we loaded spreader with a pitchfork and shovel. My dad milked about a hundred cows, but he did not have to do field work. The man that owned the farm had different crews for that. He had three milking parlors and my dad ran one. The other two were on a different part of the farm. Stay warm and please be safe.

Each time i see taylor opening gates for Brent, it reminds of my customer complaining that he has to open gates all by himself all the time from skid steer and one time not closing gate fast enough end up with animal being mixed up when was time for shipment or feeding, he keeps talking about it each time i deliver a trailer load of hay from being not happy about his wife, daughter and son. Brent is real lucky or Taylor is also lucky to be farming together.

Hi Tay, its gotta be the time lapse, jet lag whatever, thought I was always late but , believe me, as soon as I see your content " bell" I'm happy. Watch and comment. Helps the channel and hopefully boosts your subscriber base . OLDER, tractors and equipment have a character . Little perks and idiosyncrasies the modern computer driven stuff doesn't have. Unless you're a computer programmer with all the hacks to get around all these blocks to fixing stuff. Old is RELIABLE and can be fixed in the shed 😊🛠🔧 Made stuff to last, not throw away, and massive dealer bills. Keep doin' what you're doing, seems you Got a good handle on things. Although the 806 was a good Tractor I would not say it’s a timeless classic that goes to the 856 which was international harvesters first production tractor to ever hit 100 pto hp so I would say that one is the timeless classic. The 1066 in the year it was produced was one of the best selling tractor in the United States all years it was produced and that was a mainstay on most American farms as their big tractor as it pushes out around 125 PTO horsepower. there’s still a lot of farms today that run 1066s in one capacity or another.

If you ever ran a cab tractor with working heat and A/C I think you would prefer it over the open station. I have both and enjoy the cold a/c with the radio and quiet surrounding noises.

I have run many cab tractors, I have worked on several farms. It’s just an honest preference

Late again sorry! But I will share my fathers favorite joke ( the manure spreader is the craziest piece of equipment on the farm-it goes around kicking the sh-t out of itself!) enjoy your videos!
