Jan, In these insane times this is a perfect example of a "survival meal". I mean you do need a heat source to cook and refrigeration to keep the hot dogs cold, but it is an inexpensive meal that costs not much at all, and has the protein source for muscle maintenance. Thank you for posting. God bless everyone of her subscribers and keep hanging on and trusting God.

We love the Nathan's skinless beef hotdogs. They are the best ever

I find them too greasy and salty...just my humble opinion

Oh yeah, love Nathan's. I only like beef hotdogs, but that's just me. When I was growing up and we were poor, we always had the cheap hotdogs until my dad got a better job. I can remember my mother the first time she bought real beef hotdogs, that was the greatest thing since bought butter. We lived on a farm, so we had homemade butter along with our own beef,pork, and chickens.
@craig98433 жыл бұрын
My mother in her later years would only by Nathan’s 🌭 I , now do the same thing when I decide to have hotdogs. Never been a huge hotdog fan, but once in a blue moon 🌚 I don’t mind it. I however like lots of condiments on mine.
@tericandeloro40823 жыл бұрын
Yes…hot dog snobs here too! 😂 Only eat Nathan’s, Sabretts, or Hebrew National. But I’m from Brooklyn, NY,, and grew up visiting the famous Nathan’s restaurant in Coney Island, so for us it’s gotta be the best. 😍 And oh….I forgot about Boars Head. They’re great but pricey. 😱
@craig98433 жыл бұрын
@@tericandeloro4082 Im from Georgia but my supervisor is from near Buffalo and she talks about Sahlen’s hotdogs. You can find them here in certain grocery stores. I’ve never tried them. I see them in Publix.

Jan I enjoy your wonderful videos. I love your creative ideas. I love that they are budget friendly and simple meals. I bet the frozen broccoli DTS has would be great as a side with this meal too. I am so happy that you are back making more videos. Your kitchen color is so very pretty. It really brightened up your kitchen so much. That is great you have family that could come and help with the painting. It is so expensive to hire outside help for projects in homes. I bet your cabinets look fantastic too. Maybe one video you could do a complete viewing of all your kitchen. God Bless you Jan. Love Tamson from Ky 😇💗

I am just watching all of your videos Jan. I absolutely love ❤ how you cook on a budget. I get these Hot Dogs at Walmart for $0.88 & my kids are grown and still buy them lol...now my Grandson who is 4 eats them as well. If Oscar Meyer are on sale I'll just buy a pack & throw them in the freezer..but I always have abt 5 pks at a time.. same w the buns.. I put a few pks in the freezer incase we need something quick.. I love Bar S cut up w some Baked Beans.. of course I add Brown Sugar..a squirter of Yellow Mustard & Ketchup.. Can't wait to try these recipes. I never knew Abt the Cheese Doodles aka Curls! Learn something everyday! I normally have cheese..but once & a while we don't..I will forward your videos to my kids as well. My 1 daughter is newly married & new to cooking, so this helps! Ty so much!! PS we have an Aldi in Delaware where we are. Idk if you do..but they have super low prices as well. Their brand of Hot Dogs are $0.75 & just as good! Bread is never over $0.85 & Buns of any sort are less than $1.
