Dont let the dough sit out. It's better to keep the rolls refrigerated until right before you use them otherwise the dough gets too soft and it's hard to pull apart as you found out. Great recipe.

Boy, that looks very tasty Jan!! It reminds me a lot of a Pampered Chef dish I had one time. I think it was made with ground beef and taco seasoning and was put around the crescent rolls wrapped over. That would be good to fix if you're having friends over for to watch a football game!

Hi, Ms. Jan!! I just love seeing all the new videos!! We really miss you, when you're gone, but we totally understand... You must take care of yourself. Something I wanted it share with you... I've learned that, if you keep the crescent rolls in the fridge up til you're just ready to use them, they'll hold shape, and unroll alot easier. Love you much, Ms. Jan!!
@cwgmama3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jan, let me share this tip with you about Cresent rolls, and canned dough, all you need to do is take your rolling pin, or use a can, a glass anything round that will roll.. and a little flour on it and roll out your canned dough, then you can use your pizza cutter or a knife to cut it in the shape you want..

That looks so nice. I bet it's really delicious too. I'm wondering if maybe the reason why your first can of dough didn't cooperate with you is because it sat out while you were doing your prep work and got a little too warm. But you did a great job patching it all together. Once it was done, no one would never know how much you had to fight with it! I think I'd slice it and serve it as a finger food, with a bowl of spinach dip in the center. People could spoon a bit of the dip onto their plate when they pick up their piece. Also, I'd line the cookie sheet with foil to dress it up a little. Maybe get a sprig of fall leaves and sunflowers or some fake gourds and such to spread around the outside of the ring to make it fancy, and you have not only a delicious dish, but a great centerpiece dish on a table full of easy grab foods for a fall party, or maybe for a group of friends watching a football game. Wow! You really brought out my creative mind. I never do these types if things, but your pretty dish made all kinds of ideas flood my dormant brain, hahaha! Thank Jan. This was a lot of fun. I'd love to try this, but I'm all alone, and no one ever visits, so I wouldn't have anyone to make it for. ~ sigh~🥴~ Oh well, it was a nice thought anyway Thanks for that. I'm sure those who actually get company would enjoy making this to share with their friends 😏❤

One thing I found with Cresent rolls is...if you keep them in the fridge till you are ready to use...they come out of the package and are easier to take apart if they are chilled. If you let them sit out too long they get all goupy and hard to work with....chill till last minute..
