I really love this talk through your process. Sometimes when a craftsman makes their pieces look so seamless and effortless, it's easy to forget or miss how much planning and time goes into just finding the form in the medium. Thank you! I've been thinking that I needed to show a little more of the process and the difficulties that I come across. In the past I avoided showing the defects in the wood and my struggles. But I think it's more constructive to show that there is an enormous amount of planning that goes into the project, even before I begin to carve.
