DC gave Stipe a real tough time in this one...... DC was able to outbox Stipe for most part of this fight with the help of his 'Mummy Guard' until Stipe was finally able to figure out the opening for body shots and find the finish. DC made some adjustments and abandoned the 'Mummy Guard' in their 3rd fight so it allows him to defend his body better but then without that 'Mummy Guard', Stipe ended up outboxing DC for almost the entirety of their 3rd fight. Lol

@michealmicheal8258 He never used it to the extent that he did in this fight since the takedown threat from DC was usually enough to shut down/minimise the striking offence of most of his opponents 😅 But I do remember how the Ghost of Anderson Silva did manage to hurt DC with a perfectly executed body kick at UFC 200 anyway 😆
