Nice old Farmall tractor, sounds like maybe some old gas, you know the corn piss they put in gasoline these days. I pray daily for the victims of the horrible flooding in the Appalachians. May our Lord restore their lives completely. Pot of beans, energy to fuel a body's fire. You heart of gold helping the good folks is commendable.

Here's a Hack for you to Try, Remove the winding handle from the Auger feed thing, then weld a nut in place of the handle then you can use a drill with a socket the same size of the nut you welded, should save winding by hand. Just a thought.

That has been on my mind every time they move it. I did what you suggest a few years ago to lift my popup camper. Harbor freight variable speed half hp drill.

Wesley, the Renaissance Man. Austin’s right next to him as the Renaissance Woman. Poppa, the Original Man outshines all of you. Follow his light. Momma, you were the vessel of all this goodness.❤❤ On our farm in Virginia, we used squirrels, rabbits as the meat (in the 40’s) in our Brunswick Stew. Potatoes, tomatoes, Lima beans, corn, onions, etc. I’ve graduated to chicken now days, lots of butter, but everything else. Yum. (80 yrs. Later) Blessings to all.❤

"Stirring the Pot". Can you answer 1 question? Why you guys NEVER wear hearing protection around those LOUD augers? If nothing else. Your children should. Once you lose your hearing it's gone. When I have to turn the TV down for auger sound,it's loud. I've worked on a farm for 18 years. I know how loud augers are etc. However if you don't care about your children hearing, continue on.
