I made this little friend today, and he turned out beautifully! Instead of sticking the eyes on the head, I put security eyes in the eye patches and shortened the back of the security eye. Then I sewed them on the head. It worked pretty well! Thank you for the pattern!

@@AmiAmourI love your videos. I would love to make a cuddly toy size stitch. Can you recommend how to make bigger please??
@AmiAmour2 жыл бұрын
@@courtez4846 Hi, the easiest way to size up would be to use a chunkier yarn. I've seen people use the bulkier chenille type yarn for bigger size plush. Good luck! If not you can also try double stranding or even triple stranding yarn although the doll will become a lot more stiffer.

heyy, so im interested in making this, does anyone who’s already made it have the approximate size of the finished product? because i want to make it as a gift with a voice box thing inside but im worried it won’t fit, thanks!!
@lavenderrainbow50412 жыл бұрын
I made mine with Bernat Blanket yarn which is very thick if you are not familiar with it - 8mm hook. My Stitch measures 11 inches tall (not including his ears of which I made much larger than this pattern). His body is 4"h x 3"w. His head is 5"h x 4"w. I am only guessing here...I would estimate that size 4 yarn would be 1/2 this size. I hope that this helps :)

What size is the stitch?

The bubble stitch for his feet are next to impossible. I've tried even switching to a 4mm hook just to make the bubble stitch. SO very frustrating! UGH. Any hints?

My own hint if anyone else has issues with the bubble stitch is to keep the tension loose! That was my problem. ONWARD!!!

Hello Ami Amour, do you think it's possible for you to do Angel from lilo and stitch I would really love to crochet her.
@AmiAmour3 жыл бұрын
I would just use the same pattern as the Stitch pattern, but in Angel colors. For the V on her chest, just use chain stitches and then sew it on. Same thing with her antenna, you can just use chain stitches, or if you want it sturdier, do a row of chain stitches, and then a row of slip stitches back and then sew it on top of her head. I have a picture of Angel on my free pattern blog post for Stitch, so you can also look there for color inspiration! (Link in description box) Hope that helps!

Hi so when i start making the open mouth head which colour blue do i start with, as im not sure if its top or bottom first
@AmiAmour3 жыл бұрын
Hi, you start with the regular Blue color first because Round 1 starts from the top of the head. And then at Round 8 you will switch to the Light Blue color. Hope that helps!

How much quantity of yarn is needed to make it
@AmiAmour2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't require that much yarn at all. You just need small amounts of the pink, light blue, and dark blue. The main body color though I would approximate maybe around 60 grams to be on the safe side or 130 meters of yarn. Happy Crocheting!
