I absolutely LOVE this!! Especially the multicolor+white. It almost gives a sort of "houndstooth" appearance... in fact, I bet if you used a brown/black, or brown/tan with this stitch it would look very much like Houndstooth. Very useful stitch/color technique. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Years ago I picked up a hook at an estate sale, I made one Tunisian small throw. I’ve had it for years. I recently bought a set of Tunisian hooks from Amazon, wanting to get back into it. I’ve never done two colors together. Thank You for this, you make it look so easy. I’m thinking why stick to two, we could use how many we want and even put a design or lettering with the colors. Oh my mind is racing....

I use it for potholders. I do 25sts across and 30 rows. I make 2 and stitch them together in colors for their kitchen, it personalized the item. TY

Thank you! I love doing the Tunisian crochet. I made an afghan using the honeycomb version of Tunisian crochet. The hardest part was putting the panels together. I ended up just using a yarn needle and sewing them together. Do you have a better method?
@julielefebre24754 жыл бұрын
Thanks Glenda! How do I avoid the curling. I am currently working on a different Tunisian pattern of yours and so far it’s all curled up.
@noellahosken10974 жыл бұрын
Hi Glenda, when making an Afghan, do you make a serese, of squares then attach them together when you have enough pieces to add on. Love your tutorials. TY, for sharing.❤️
@veronicajohnson34624 жыл бұрын
You can make squares or strips. If you have a Tunisian hook with a cord on the end, you can make it in one piece.

Lovely tutorial - thank you! I would love to know where you purchased your crochet hook. I’m in Canada and I ordered three double ended Susan Bates crochet hooks and was so dismayed to discover that they had Boye type heads! Perhaps you purchased yours a while ago and now Boye type hooks are the norm on Susan Bates Tunisian crochet hooks.
@kandylanterman21673 жыл бұрын
I was just wondering why you could use a double ended hook ?
@Lisa..44 жыл бұрын
When I first looked at this I thought this was going to be to difficult for me. But after watching the video and you going slow I think I can do it.

I'd like to know how to connect this work together?
@CreativeGrandma4 жыл бұрын
Yolanda I am not sure what you mean, you work to the width you want then work the pattern, if you are working this pattern into blocks then you can add a border and sl st or single crochet or sew them together. I hope that helps.
@yolandaRodriguez-er9lp4 жыл бұрын
I did mean I would like to work this pattern in blocks, thanks for explaining. Now in order to make the border would I single crochet around the square? I crochet @@CreativeGrandma
@CreativeGrandma4 жыл бұрын
@@yolandaRodriguez-er9lp you can single crochet around the square, I single crochet across one side chain 2 for the corner then single crochet around the next side chain 2 at corner, etc, you can also double crochet around your block as well.
