I watch your videos every night . You are so patient in explaining and have beautiful samples . I'm learning how do some of the patterns . My main trouble is keeping the tension n the working yarn . It tends to slip out or off my fingers . I will keep trying until I get it! 💕💕💕

Hi! I'm Linda from the "North Shore" in Massachusetts. I've been crocheting since I was 9, but I need to change up my patterns. I'm making a loveseat sized blanket for a friend and she would like only 2 colors, royal blue and a coffee tan, so I think this puff stitch will work. I'll post a picture when I have a few rows done. This is going to sound weird, but if any of you watched public TV and remember Bob Ross the artist, your instructions, your calm voice, and the pace of your instructions remind me of watching Bob's painting lessons. I'm making new friends, I'm learning new patterns and getting ideas and creating "happy little designs." (If you know Bob Ross, you'll remember his "happy little trees!"). I'm so glad that I found you on youtube. I'm a visual learner so this is so much easier for me! Thank you so much!

This is a cool stitch; and I love the reversible effect, but I hate cutting and weaving ends. I am going to see if I can adjust this stitch pattern a little to carry the yarn up the side. I have an idea how to do that. Now to see if it will work.

I have to tell you how much I appreciate your use of inexpensive, readily available yarns and hooks. I learned crochet many years ago from a book (Sunset, I think). Didn't do it for a long time--too much to do, not enough hours in a day. When I picked it up again, my daughter told me "so-and-so says you shouldn't use "Super Saver" yarn. It's cheap and poor quality..." My reaction was basically "Seriously?" But money always being an issue, I put that "information" aside and kept doing what I was doing. Yes, I use other yarns as well, but Super Saver is always available. It comes in so many pretty colors. It's made in the US. Yes, there are fancier yarns, but for many projects, Super Saver is a go-to yarn. (And personally, I like Susan Bates hooks.) 😊 P.S. I love how the second color pops on the other side--if you use two colors it's like getting two items for the effort of one!

APrimbun Super saver yarns are a little stiffer......but there are you tube vids on how to make it softer.....I personally like Caron for color and quality.
