I kind of do what I want when I want. I have a small project as a travel piece, a medium size for doing out on the patio easy to see in the daytime, and a large one I work on while watching TV with my hubby. Sometimes I work each of them all in a day and sometimes it might be only one depending on what I am doing. I really am liking Riverwalk Charm.

I can absolutely relate to taking patterns I get seriously... haha, the moment they are in my house, they are like on the back burner, existing in my mind waiting to be stitches. Keep up with the good work on the Beast from the East!

We had a great 4th of July filled with lots of friends, family and food. It was very hot but my brother has a pool and the day went so fast! I wanted to thank you again for showing us your beautiful stitching and giving us a history lesson too!

I very much enjoy your videos, the history ones and the stitch with me. I don’t do any wip go just stitch the ones that call to me at the time. I think your idea of 2 weeks on each wip is a good one. I bought the mini Riverwalk charm chart and the big one just don’t know if I will live long enough to stitch the big one plus all my others. 😮

Hi Carol! Yes it's hard to know, but I sort of suspend the worry about if or when I'm "finishing" because combined with steady progress it'll be a nice journey. I'm also thinking about the possibility of creating an FB group for those of us who are doing RC or other big sized WIPS and can share amongst ourselves.

I love to stitch only full coverage so I also have my comfy place in my living room to stitch. I also stitch with a group or on our deck, which then I have a lap stand to use. So you ought to look into a smaller stand. 😊

Like you, I want to be able to pick up a project I feel like stitching at that precise moment. I like to leave some room for some spontaneity in life, we have to plan for almost everything else nowadays (restaurant, hairdresser etc). You made me giggle when you mentioned you felt like you were operating on some organs when you had your magnifier glasses on.

It has helped me to focus on only a few at a time. Just can't handle 100s of wips. I say stitch what calls to you. (However, I tend to make a plan and stick to it pretty close lol.)

I just love watching your stitch with me videos, especially your history podcast ones. You have encouraged me to get my Riverwalk Charm Max Color stitch out on a regular basis, so thank you! I was feeling discouraged with all of the confetti, but I know this one chart will be worth the trouble. My motto is stitch what makes you get out in the bed in the morning (or out of bed after an afternoon nap after a long workday), so that is what I would say about your plan going forward. So many times we get bogged down with what we feel we should be stitching on, but do what will bring you joy during your stitching session. It sounds like that is your motto as well so I'm preaching to the choir. Either way I can't wait to see your progress! Thank you for sharing!

I'm like you sometimes where I think to myself " I can stitch this 2 weeks then stitch the other for 2 weeks" but then I also think "well what if I'm more busy those 2 weeks than the other and I won't get to stitch on this very much for the weeks I dedicated to it" its a terrible cycle
