Paisley fabric is so retro, lovely. Ellie and mac pattern's have a new dress pattern called Mariza Garden Party dress. Would look great in that fabric.

Sponsored, shmonsored! I wouldn't turn down a lovely freebie either. I don't personally have a problem with sponsored content when it's genuinely liked by the receiver, which yours obviously is. It's beauty types who have a new ride or die every week and you never see the product again!! All of you guys with the Serious Readers quite obviously LOVE the product and it appears again and again so I'm all for it!!!

Sweet little "helper!" Thanks for taking us along on the family outing! I love the skirt, and am planning to make one that style, as well. It's a great idea to have an underskirt/lining so no slip is required and no one can "see you walking," as a friend of mine used to say! Hugs! Peggy

Layla looks just like you!! She is so cute!! :+) Her little outfit you made for her was adorable!! So glad you used the gorgeous lemon linen fabric!! Your skirt is beautiful!! We all have issues with instructions-I always feel like they are backwards-except for patterns from: "Itch to Stitch", hers are spot on!! :+)

Hi Rachel, what a glorious day with Layla…..I can tell how much you and Martin enjoy being grandparents. She’s a doll! Loved your shirt, and your pants (I remember you making those) and your skirt looks lovely. That bag is gorgeous; I would never turn that down either. And it looks very practical. I hope you had some nice relaxing time at the end of your day. ❤

Fabulous vlog, Rachel. Layla is an absolute delight and it was good to see Martin again, it's been a while. My little granddaughter, also Layla, was 21 a couple of weeks ago - really miss those toddler days. Your skirt is beautiful and I'm envious of your fabric haul.🥰

Of course take a sponsor. You look so fresh and glowing. Please share how your journey to health has been. I know you started running but is that all bc you do look amazing. I’m in love with the skirt. I think attaching the first tier to The underskirt gave it a nice drape.

Ah Rachel, little Layla is an absolute poppet, what a treasure. I remember our conversation at SewToon where I told you she would be your delight….i was right. I go to Fabricland in Kingston upon Thames quite often when we are down staying with the kids. Next time I am there I will have a look to see if they have that fabric. I am actually making the new Pattern scout dress with a viscose from Fabricland which is very similar to your purple. By the way, my girls wore their Tilly dresses on holiday, it’s a lovely pattern and Layla rocks hers. ❤

Your outfit to the aquarium is so cute. You looking great. The lemon skirt is also cute. I understand about the lining, I made a shirt dress from a beautiful linen which needed to be lined but became quite heavy. Oh well, it’s still nice and I wear as you will the lemon skirt. Are you a doctor or a nurse and you work at a prison, is it scary? That made me worry for you, sorry. Take care love

As always, lovely vlog especially with your little princess 😇. I went to take a look at the bags in the sale but found that the link too me to a page for affiliates rather to the sale so it’s worth taking a look to see if that’s the correct link. Don’t want you to miss out on any recognition for directing traffic their way. I’ll come back again and check tomorrow. X

Hi Rachel, you look great , what’s your secret to weight loss? Also, my daughter is a RN and has asked me to make her some scrubs. What fabric would you recommend and have you made any yourself?
@StitchedUp6 ай бұрын
I would recommend a lighter weight cotton maybe a poplin because you’re so busy as a nurse you just need lightweight fabrics to avoid overheating avoid poly (which a lot of scrubs fabrics are) because you just get too sweaty when you’re on the go, I’ve made for others during the pandemic but never made my own
