Well this was perfect timing! I had actually talked myself out of doing 1 over 1 as the fractional stitches confused me! Thank you for taking the time to do this ❤️

Thank you. I have never done 1 over 1 now I can try it!

I tried this and was going great until I started doing stitches next to the skin! Ohhh nooo! I miscounted and had to rip it out twice! I really like it though. I figure there is a learning curve. LOL! Thanks for the great tutorial.

Thank you so much your instructions are so clear and now I understand more !

Always good to see how you do it. I would do 2 more stitches to fill up the little gab. But I always change things in patterns.

What is that material? And what is the count? Great tutorial. Easy to understand. I am attempting my first 1 over 1 😱😱😱 thanks for taking the time to do this. It really has helped me and makes me look forward to trying this.

Thank you for another great video. Have you made one on stitching long straight stitches that are not even, but on a slant. Hope I explained it ok. I spent hours for the past two nights trying to do this. Thank you.

What do you do for blended threads?
@Stitcherista7 жыл бұрын
Delicious Threads I would pick one of the two threads they recommend for the blended and stitch with that.

Thank you, Danielle. Ok, so all skin is one over one. Is the rest of the Mira done as one over two or two over two?
@Stitcherista7 жыл бұрын
Danette J50 you can do the skin 2 over 2. I just did this demonstration because some people stitch the skin 1 over 1. The rest of the pattern is stitched 2 over 2.

I’m new so I’m sorry if this is a silly question but what is a miribelia?
@Stitcherista5 жыл бұрын
It is a pattern designer, Mirabilia.

I do not understand nothing. Why you do 4 stich es?
@Stitcherista4 жыл бұрын
Because four small stitches equals one larger stitch. People do this method for skin because it gives a more delicate look.
@tinagrijalva32687 жыл бұрын
does the go for all 1 over 1 like if i’m going to use a 25 count lugana I would stitch in 4 square to make it equal 1.
@Stitcherista7 жыл бұрын
Tina Grijalva people usually do already stitch 1 over 1 for 25 count Lugana. Most people do not stitch Mirabilia patterns on 25 count. Usually they are stitched on 28 or 32 count.

How do you know when to do 1 over 1, 2 over 2, or normal stitches? Is the same method used throughout a pattern, or are some areas 1 over 1 and some normal? Is it mentioned in the key?
@Stitcherista2 жыл бұрын
If it is charted as 1 over 1 it will be mentioned in the key.
