I just got my Ann Hugh’s pattern and linen in the mail today and started it while watching this Flosstube! Luckily, I had one of the called for threads, Cherry Cobbler on hand and started the house windows! Waiting for other threads, which were ordered from a different shop. I LOVE watching you two. Makes my day! I especially appreciate all the information you add on in the Description. I’m an Aida stitcher too. I love seeing Sarah W.’s fabric choices. You both always give me great ideas. I started working on Serenity recently because of you!!! P.S. I do the back-stitching as I go because it is my least favorite thing to do. I want to end on an UP and not on a DOWNER. LOL! Sarah L. I’m a perfectionist and if it doesn’t look right to me, I will also do it over. After all, the stitch is FOR me!!!!! Love you gals.

Beautiful progress ladies, don't know how you accomplish so much! Really appreciate you listing all the details below, super helpful!! I stitch on both linen and Aida, and have gotten the same color in both and the Aida seems to dye much lighter across the board so that may be why your fabrics look different.

Sarah W’s fabric is Aida. Sarah reads fabric is linen. Those fabrics dye completely differently. Linen is usually darker than Aida. I LOVE the side-by-side comparisons! I’m an Aida stitcher myself. Such beautiful works, ladies!!!
