Glad to see someone else works backwards lol When I started watching Saltbox Stitcher I loved her first few and have been catching all of hers one at a time and marking them off my list. I think you would like her. I am enjoying your video very much and plan to do same with yours. 😊

Thank you so much! I have watched some of Carol's videos and do enjoy them! She has tons of eye candy! Thank you so much for making time to watch mine as well. They're sometimes a little rough but I feel like I'm improving! 😊Thank you for the kind words and happy stitching to you! 🥰

Love your scarf and other purchases from England. Ive never attempted a pin stitch. Thanks for such a cheery video!

Thank you so much! And thanks for taking the time to watch! The pin stitch is tricky but I've used it many more times this past weekend on one WIP in particular and it is growing on me. Nicola Parkman has a great tutorial video if you want to check it out. Happy stitching! 😊

Lovely scarf!! I’m totally enabled to buy Hannah Campbell, even though it’s a pain to stitch with all the 1 over 1. It’s gorgeous!! Love your channel!

Thank you! With Hannah Campbell, no doubt you will love her (she is worth every stitch!) but take your time and consider the Surfine for the over one bits if you're working on a high thread count. Happy stitching! 🥰

I would love to stitch the pear as an ornament. I have a pear, acorn, walnut, and feather Christmas tree, all in bronze & gold.

The pear would make a gorgeous ornament! That's a great idea! ✨

When I use a pin stitch or have had to remove a mistake (ending up with a very short thread), I remember where those areas are then at the end of the days' work on that project I add a tiny dot of fray check. Some times it seeps back into the fabric but so far it has always dried clear. I leave the fabric stretchd on my scroll rods to dry over night.

That's a great tip! Thank you! And thanks for watching 😊

Well this was an ironic watch. You talked about checking out older episodes of Nichola, and finding that amazing scarf! Count me in, scarf purchased! 😂 Had to also pick up the the Carol Humphrey sampler book. I have her Quaker School Girl Samplers book that I covet, so very excited to get my order. Happy stitching! 😊

I have that exact same cabinet that is behind you! I’ll officially watch the video now that I’ve shared that information with you. ☺️ I’ve enjoyed all of your videos and I’m sure I’ll be delighted by this one as well.

REALLY!? Do you know who manufactured it? It was a one-off I found in an antique store. Just love it! Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy the latest video! 😊

I got it from an estate sale about twenty years ago and if my memory serves me, I think it’s part of a Sears bedroom set. It’s a very well made piece!

It would have been so cool to watch you open the package from England. Do you take before and after pictures so you feel the progress concretely?
@StitchStitchBead11 ай бұрын
I might do an unboxing for something special in the future! As far as documenting my progress on certain pieces, I'm afraid I only take occasional photos but I am considering taking them more often for the benefit of these videos. Thanks for watching again! 🥰

Great video today.❤. when you stitch the over-1 on Hannah Campbell are you using the 100/3’s or Sufine? I’m going to buy the 100/3 for Hannah but I don’t know if I need the finer threads too. I’ll be stitching on 40 count fabric.
@StitchStitchBead11 ай бұрын
I have stitched all of Hannah with the 100/3s BUT I would have gotten the Surfine for the over one bits (maybe half a dozen colors?) had I known better and worked something else on 45 ct Legacy linen before. On 40 you may have just that little bit more room that makes it all easy enough. Good luck! She's beautiful!

It is a little insane! But for a special project it has been worth the effort. Definitely need good light for it though!
