Step 1: Gather Your Materials
Fabric for the top and skirt
Matching thread
Scissors
Pins
Measuring tape
Sewing machine
Step 2: Cutting the Fabric
Measure and cut fabric pieces for the top (front, back, and sleeves if desired) and skirt. Leave some extra for seam allowance.
Step 3: Sewing the Top
Stitch the shoulder seams of the top pieces together.
If adding sleeves, attach them.
Hem the sleeves and the bottom of the top.
